Discover Bangkok's New Landmark: One Bangkok
Recently opened, One Bangkok is creating a buzz as the largest commercial complex in the city. It houses big names like King Power and The Ritz-Carlton. The central corridor features a massive green park, and currently, there's an art exhibition on the first floor with many creative installations worth checking out!
Highlights: The overall design is simple and elegant. The B1 floor offers a variety of Michelin-starred cuisines, allowing you to choose freely without much risk of disappointment. You'll find Southeast Asian brands like Boon Tong Kee and Boost.
Drawbacks: Since it just opened, many stores are still in their trial operation phase, with some areas appearing quite basic, and the walking routes can be a bit confusing.
Transportation: Take the MRT to Lumphini Station for direct access, or simply take a taxi to One Bangkok. #ThailandTravel #Thailand #Bangkok #OneBangkok #TravelTips #ExploreTheWorld #TravelAdvice

One Bangkok, the latest and largest urban complex in Bangkok, has opened
It's hard to imagine that just 200 meters from the alley where I live, the largest urban complex in Bangkok, One Bangkok, has opened.
The contrast in Thailand is striking! The outside streets are still quite rundown, crowded, and noisy, but inside, there are various high-end malls, office buildings, hotels, and art galleries forming an internal plaza space. It's bustling with people, and the architecture is particularly innovative, with some techniques I've never seen before, not even in Shanghai. For example, the wrapped columns and the ones only coated with putty seem to convey the idea of an inclusive city.
However, the renovation just finished, and since it opened last week, I could feel the heavy formaldehyde, which made me dizzy. There's a particularly thin and slender glass railing with no metal ribs for support, which looks dangerous, so I didn't dare to get close. I also saw a real children's toilet for the first time, with door heights that allow adults to monitor. There's a design flaw where the escalators are arranged side by side, causing pedestrian flow to cross, which is somewhat dangerous.
This is also the first time I've seen such an arrangement, and it's not very reasonable. The broadcasts are in Chinese, indicating that Thailand's economy is eager for contributions from Chinese tourists.

Discover the Pink Bear at One Bangkok
Located at Munchiesbearbkk, right next to the checkout counter at MUJI in One Bangkok, you'll find the charming pink bear sign. Their milk drinks are said to be even better than Milk Boy's, and the adorable packaging is a plus. There are three flavors available, including a low-sugar option. If you're not a fan of overly sweet treats, try the HOJICHA CHARCOAL signature roasted cookies with cream cheese, which have a unique and delicious flavor.
They offer a sweet and sour taste with a hint of black coffee aroma. This brand was established just this year, according to the friendly staff. If you buy two cookies, you get a mini one for free. Prices at One Bangkok are relatively high. The popular Blendies roasted tea gelato is 80 THB for two scoops, and the signature blue Ohjuice is 60 THB. The apple candy is 50 THB each. This visit to Thailand surprised me!

One Bangkok: The Largest Commercial Complex in Bangkok
Thailand's commercial scene has long been in the spotlight. From the community-focused Commons to the culturally rich and stylish Icon Siam, and the uniquely designed EmSphere, Bangkok's commercial projects have become models for domestic real estate developers.
One Bangkok's new approach to commercial experience is equally noteworthy—integrating three shopping centers within one complex. These include the newly opened THE STOREYS and Parade, with POST 1928 set to launch in the next phase. Each has a distinct commercial positioning, yet all align with One Bangkok's unified concept—The Rhythmic Experience, offering a unique lifestyle rhythm that excites and engages everyone.
If you're visiting Thailand, it's the perfect time to check out One Bangkok, the largest commercial complex in the city, which has just opened next to a hotel. The rush to open is evident, with impressive landscaping but more modest interior finishes. The visual layout is striking, though construction is still ongoing in some areas. The regulations seem different, allowing for more diverse store designs. The top-floor food court is a rare find with delicious options, including affordable Michelin-starred dishes, though foot traffic is moderate compared to other Thai malls. It will take time to gain popularity. Additionally, there's an exhibition space on the ground floor, but the content is average.

ONE BANGKOK: Another Trendy Mall in Bangkok
This new mall has been generating a lot of buzz, and I've explored it for you!
Here's my personal take:
* There are plenty of artistic photo spots, but it's not as popular as Emsphere.
* There are fewer high-end brands, with a focus on trendy labels.
* Two floors feature a King Power duty-free zone.
* The basic level includes common drink and food outlets, though the variety isn't extensive.
* It's conveniently accessible via the subway, with the Lumphini Station leading directly to the mall entrance.

ONE BANGKOK | A New Urban Landmark
Currently, One Bangkok has opened two sections of its mall: Stories and Parade.
The luxury section is set to open next year, and many areas are still under construction. If you're planning to shop, it's advisable to visit next year. Additionally, the city's airport terminal will be operational next year, allowing travelers to check in and drop off luggage directly, making it convenient for shopping tourists heading to the airport. On the first floor, there's a stunning Starbucks where I unexpectedly ran into former Bangkok Mayor Apirak Kosayodhin!

One Bangkok, a new mall in Bangkok, Thailand, opened on October 25
🚇: Direct access via MRT Lumphini station!
The mall is unique and stylish, with many recent performances and events, but it's not very easy to navigate. It feels like a mall surrounded by several buildings, making it easy to lose your way. Many shops are not fully operational yet, with some still under construction. There are many young, fashionable people taking photos. The food court on the lower level needs improvement, as the food options are not very diverse. If you're interested, it's worth a visit!

You read it right | This is One Bangkok
One Bangkok, the new landmark in Bangkok, has finally opened on the 25th, causing a sensation across Thailand! It has once again changed my perception of Bangkok. Having lived in Thailand for eight years, I remember when One Bangkok was just a concept. From its design and planning to laying the foundation and construction, to its grand opening, I have witnessed the entire process! I am amazed at the rapid commercial development in Thailand! One Bangkok is a joint venture by the renowned TCC Group and Frasers Property, with a total investment of 120 billion baht (approximately 3.2 billion USD). Designed with the concept of 'The Heart of Bangkok,' it integrates ecology, culture, and commerce. Its vision is to create a new capital landmark by combining diversity and urbanization, enhancing Bangkok's status as one of the most influential international cities and global tourist destinations. Although One Bangkok has just opened, it is so vast that it feels like a maze that requires exploration. Many shops and restaurants are set to open in 2025, making it a place worth revisiting for new discoveries.
Directions and Address:
One Bangkok, Witthayu Rd, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330
MRT Station: Lumphini Station or take the shuttle bus from Starbucks to BTS Phloen Chit Station.
Tip: Since this location is at the core intersection of Rama 4 and Wireless Road, which is the center of Bangkok, traffic jams are inevitable. The parking lot is also like a maze, so it is recommended to use public transportation.

Exploring the New One Bangkok Mall
I took an old bus, route 13, for just 8 baht to reach One Bangkok, which is near Central. Alternatively, you can take the Blue Line and get off at Lumphini. Upon entering the mall, you can clearly notice the lingering smell of formaldehyde, and many shops have yet to open. However, you can still explore the market shown in picture ten and picture thirteen to buy some souvenirs.
Other than that, it's better to skip the rest.

One Bangkok offers a taste of Japan and local delights
The supermarket in One Bangkok is filled with Japanese products, with prices around THB819.5. On the first floor, you can enjoy a refreshing drink at Nayuki Tea for THB155.
For dinner, head to King Power on the third floor and try the delicious Easy Buddy beef basil rice for THB317. Additionally, SARAPAD THAI offers interesting local souvenirs. The convenience of the MRT subway, which directly reaches the area, makes it an accessible destination.

One Bangkok: Thailand's New Landmark
I visited the much-talked-about world-class landmark, reportedly built with a billion-dollar investment.
My first impression was that it's enormous, and I found it a bit overwhelming to navigate. Most of the stores inside are luxury brands. After wandering around for quite some time, I finally recognized a Nayuki and a KFC. However, the basement level features a Japanese street with plenty of delicious food options.

Exploring One Bangkok in Thailand
One Bangkok is essentially a shopping mall, with many stores yet to open. The night view is quite nice, making it a good spot for photography. There are plenty of dining options, including Sushi Express and BHC Chicken. Like traditional malls, the basement level offers various food and snacks, with a notable Japanese Mitsukoshi supermarket offering a wide range of imported foods, especially Japanese cuisine and instant meals.
Family-sized packages of items like wasabi octopus and seaweed are available. The first floor features large chain clothing stores, and there is a Jasmine Milk White store. The second and third floors have clothing stores and various restaurants and tea shops. The fourth floor is dedicated to electronics, while the fifth floor houses a cinema and a food festival. The official opening was on October 25th, with a lavish ceremony costing two billion baht. The office buildings are also new and modern. Initially, I planned to dine at the mall, but it was too crowded, so I bought ingredients to make sukiyaki at home. It was just another uneventful day.

Bangkok's One Bangkok Surprises with Two Ski Gear Stores
It's quite unexpected to find a Bogner store in a place where the temperature is almost 30 degrees year-round. Located on the ground floor of the mall, the store offers a wide range of items similar to those on the domestic website, including shoes and accessories.
The prices are comparable to those back home, with the added benefit of tax refunds. Burton has also opened a store on the second floor. Although I'm not into snowboarding, this brand seems to be quite popular. Alo Yoga is also set to open soon, which is exciting!

One Bangkok Grand Opening
One Bangkok has finally opened its doors after months of anticipation, from February to October. Some say it aims to rival IconSiam, but it still has a long way to go. Arriving on a Sunday afternoon at 5 PM, the mall was bustling with people. Not all stores are fully open yet, and the brands available are quite ordinary, with no major surprises. The highlight of the visit was the handmade goods market, which was vibrant and uplifting.
It offered a wide range of products, from Big C's full category to traditional handicrafts and cultural designs, allowing for two hours of non-stop browsing. During meal times, all the restaurants had long queues, which was quite exhausting and diminished the experience. The semi-open viewing staircases on each floor were a nice touch, and the clouds and sunset that day were picture-perfect. Perhaps in a few months, once all the stores are open and the flow of visitors is smoother, the experience will improve.

Bangkok: A Harmonious Blend of New and Old
The collision of the new era and the old era at Bangkok & Lat Mayom Floating Market is seamless, showcasing the unique characteristics and differentiation that commerce should present. However, adjusting the itinerary order might be better. Start the morning at Lat Mayom Floating Market, as it closes at 5 PM. When we visited, some vendors were already packing up, but the advantage of fewer boats is the opportunity to speed through the waterways on a tutu boat! You can buy delicious snacks and drinks to enjoy on the boat, and all the snacks are delightful with no disappointments. The boat fare is 100 baht per person for about a 45-minute trip. The current temperature is not too hot, and the breeze is very comfortable.
One Bangkok, which opened in October this year, is Thailand's largest integrated real estate development project, covering 16.7 hectares. Developed by Frasers Property, a subsidiary of TCC Group, one of Thailand's largest conglomerates, the project integrates office buildings, luxury hotels, residences, parks, and large shopping malls, creating a comprehensive urban living space. It includes five Grade A office towers, three of which are already in use, luxurious five-star hotels (including The Ritz-Carlton and Andaz), and three high-end residential buildings. One Bangkok features three interconnected shopping areas, a retail destination with the concept of The Rhythmic Experience, including Parade, The Storeys, and Post 1928, combining dining, art, culture, beauty, and entertainment elements! The entire project is expected to be completed by 2026, and today only Parade and The Storeys are open, feeling like just the tip of the iceberg.
We randomly chose a Michelin-recommended restaurant, Lin Lao Wu, for a meal. It was delicious and affordable, with the soup being fresh and the fish balls bouncy, highly praised! During the visit, there was a mall parade performance with a team of about ten people dressed fashionably and theatrically, warmly greeting customers, creating a very friendly and lovely interaction.
Sarapad Thai is a must-visit Thai souvenir and exquisite lifestyle creative store, with a large area and a full range of categories, featuring stylish and innovative designs. We spent the most time here, purchasing all the gifts we needed in one stop. Downstairs, the King Power City Boutique (duty-free shop) is super worth visiting, offering not only international luxury brands but also Thai local brands like SUKONTA. We blindly chose a Siam lemongrass product we liked very much, purchased at a 30% discount for about 160 yuan. Due to the rush to catch the floating market, we didn't continue shopping. The parking lot felt very comfortable, with wide and bright passages and uniformed guides. We waited a long time for a Grab, but a taxi came with a fixed price, and we left directly.
The places we visited today were quite far, and after three days of intense walking, we chose to take a taxi for the round trip. Tomorrow, it's back to work, applying what we've learned. #EndlessShopping #HiddenGemRestaurants #Bangkok #Bangkok #OneBangkok #FloatingMarket

Futuristic Vibes at ONE BANGKOK
Opened on the 25th, I stopped by last night to check it out. Overall, it's quite a nice place to stroll around, even though the brands are the usual ones and the items aren't cheap. But when you're shopping in Bangkok, it's more about the experience than the actual buying, isn't it?
One Bangkok has its pros and cons, and I suggest visiting if you're passing by, but it's not worth a special trip. Pros: There are plenty of spots for taking photos and resting, with both indoor and outdoor designs offering great views and color schemes that are worth capturing, especially with a wide-angle lens. Cons: As it's a shopping complex with many buildings, the navigation is poorly done, making it feel like a maze.
Finding the photo spots or even a place to eat can be quite challenging. By the way, restaurants are mainly located on the basement and third floors, so if you're visiting during meal times, head straight to these floors to avoid wandering around hungry like I did.

Enjoying a Pleasant Weekend in the City
Living in an industrial village can sometimes feel monotonous and oppressive, making it seem like you're merely surviving rather than truly living. Occasionally, I think about visiting the city, reminding myself of what it means to live fully—weekend workouts, delicious food, buying flowers, coffee, family and friends gatherings, organizing, cleaning, and household chores.
The new landmark in Bangkok, ONE BANGKOK, is a very avant-garde mall. It's quite comfortable and nice overall, though many stores are yet to open, which is something to look forward to. It's important to have the ability to make oneself happy. I recall a phrase that once motivated me to move forward: 'Imagine yourself as a sugar cube. When placed in coffee, the coffee isn't bitter; when placed in tea, the tea isn't astringent. If you lack the ability to be sweet, always relying on others for sweetness, it's easy to feel lonely and frustrated.'
