Who doesnt love shopping? I am sure many of us do love shopping and I love shopping in Johor Bahru because the exchange rate is favorable to me. One mall in Johor Bahru that I frequent would be Aeon Bukit Indah Shopping mall. It has many levels of retail shopping, and has many eateries/restaurants within the mall. My kids love the toysrus there and did you know that the kiddy rides in the mall is only RM$1, which is only about SGD0.30. Super worth it and cheap! Also, do check out Aeon within the mall, there are many fantastic deals and offers, especially at the supermarket. Groceries, for instance the Yakult drink, is at least 2-3 times cheaper than in Singapore. Have a great time shopping at Aeon Bukit Indah, you can spend hours here. #shopandtrip

While the family went shopping, I took a break at ZUS Café and enjoyed some quiet people-watching. There’s also a cinema and ample parking available, making it really convenient. Dropped by this Starbucks for an afternoon coffee while the rest of the family went grocery shopping at AEON. It was the perfect little escape—peaceful, air-conditioned, and familiar. I ordered my usual hot latte and paired it with a slice of cake. Nothing overly fancy, but comforting and consistent, just what I needed after a long day of walking. The café wasn’t too crowded, which was a bonus. I managed to get a nice seat by the window and enjoyed some quiet time scrolling on my phone. The staff were friendly and efficient. Service was smooth and my drink came out quickly. I noticed a few other solo patrons doing the same—taking a breather while their families were out running errands. Price per Person - RM 16/pax Rating - 5/5 The best gelato I have had was during my trip in Milan, but I am glad to say I have found a gelato shop that is almost similar to the one in Milan. This newly opened Gelato Shop is called Fresco Gelato and it is located on the 2nd floor of Aeon Bukit Indah Mall in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It may be a small unassuming gelato shop, but trust me, they are good. The first thing you will see at this gelato place is their freshly churned gelato, with many different flavors. A junior cup is at RM 10, while a bigger regular solo cup is at RM 16 - very reasonably priced. They have the standard mixed berries, matcha, peanut butter flavors but what stood out for me was their ultra creamy pistachio flavor, super chocolatey hazelnut chocolate flavors, and sea salt hojicha. I really love the smooth texture of their gelatos. There's a small seating area for you to enjoy your gelato. Fresco Gelato is a place I highly recommend for good quality gelatos!
