If you time your sightseeing with the bus, it will be easier to see Hakodate, which does not have very good public transport connections. There is a Seico Mart and a supermarket right next to the hotel. The supermarket also has Hakodate souvenirs such as cup noodles and Trappist cookies that are only available in Hokkaido. There is also a hot spring, and although the rooms are small, they use the space well and don't feel cramped. The price is not too high, so if you're staying in Hakodate, please try staying here.
