Today we took a leisurely stroll around the traditional market in Yogyakarta, feeling the lively local atmosphere. Just as we turned into an inconspicuous alley, we discovered a green building exuding a strong historical atmosphere. Out of curiosity, we walked closer and found that this was a local cultural museum, which houses many characteristic artworks, historical relics and even some rare handicrafts from the Yogyakarta area. Unlike other tourist attractions, this place is not crowded with tourists. Instead, it is filled with a peaceful atmosphere where people can slowly appreciate the exhibits and feel the charm of local culture. The flavors could be better— the rice is a bit hard and not fluffy, and the fried rice lacks flavor. However, the pastries are delicious.
