Japan Fireworks Festival🎆A must-see competition event!
Want to witness Japan's fireworks display in 2024? The Omagari Fireworks Festival and the Tsuchiura Fireworks Festival are probably the top choices. These two national fireworks competitions are regarded as the highest level of traditional Japanese fireworks competitions, bringing together fireworks masters from all over the country. They will launch fireworks to the rhythm of music, and the winner will receive the prestigious "Prime Minister's Award", which shows how much importance Japan attaches to fireworks skills.
❤️ The Omagari National Fireworks Competition has been held since 1910 and is known as the Oscars of the fireworks industry. It is one of the oldest fireworks competitions in Japan. The event is divided into three parts: daytime fireworks, night fireworks and creative fireworks, with a total fireworks display time of more than 4 hours. The daytime fireworks are a unique part of the event. They are held during the day, and the fireworks artists will use colorful fireworks to outline the "smoke dragon" and "warimono" that symbolize peonies and chrysanthemums in the sky, bringing a different kind of romance. The night fireworks mainly showcase the casting competition of No. 10 jade (shakudama). When creating fireworks, the fireworks artists will display fireworks of different shapes, colors, rhythms, and three-dimensional effects according to the current theme.

The autumn season is on October 5th, and every year, different themed "theatrical fireworks" are set off, and at the end, the Nishakudama is set off.
💜 The Tsuchiura National Fireworks Competition began in 1925. The competition includes rapid-fire fireworks (Star Mine), No. 10 dama (shakudama) release evaluation and creative fireworks. The overall fireworks display lasts about 2 and a half hours. Tsuchiura's Star Mine is considered the highest level competition in Japan. The casting of No. 10 Jade mainly competes in the arrangement and color matching of stars. The creative fireworks include numbers, symbols, letters, etc. Since they are not spherical, they may be difficult to see from certain angles. In addition to the competition part, there are long rows of fireworks that are set off simultaneously from different locations, which is very shocking; the large-scale fireworks show at the end is also very spectacular. The venue is close to Tokyo and is very tourist-friendly.
