Casa Vipp Andorra | Spain
| Spain. Vipp's seventh concept hotel is located in the historic Borda House in Andorra, carrying the tradition of stone houses that highlight the local mountain characteristics. It warmly welcomes lifestyle lovers from all over the world with a comfortable contemporary interior environment and a rural atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Located in the heart of Andorra's old town, Borda's original buildings were built in the 1950s and were once used to store grain and house livestock.
Vipp worked with local design firm Bau Studio to create the hotel, its first concept hotel outside of Scandinavia. Looking through the porthole, a warm atmosphere hits you. The warmth of wood blends with the stone architecture, continuing the tranquil design sense brought by the Vipp concept hotel series.
The 100-square-meter duplex apartment has a kitchen, dining room, living room and guest bathroom on the first floor. Going up the custom-made metal staircase to the second floor, you will find a bedroom suite with a spacious bathroom.
Looking out the porthole, on either side of the city center of one of the world’s smallest countries are 468 square kilometers of undulating valleys and soaring peaks, located between France and Spain.
“While each Vipp hotel explores various architectural archetypes and has unique characteristics, they all share a unified aesthetic spirit and use Vipp’s V1 kitchen and furniture series. In the future, such hotel exploration will continue, hoping to bring unforgettable stay experiences to more people.”
——Kasper Egelund, CEO and 3rd generation owner of Vipp
