#newyearnewtrip #bagan #myanmar Ever Stand Lacquerware Workshop is located in Bagan, Myanmar. They are one of the most popular local made stores for souvenir in Bagan. A lot of the items I added are made with just wood. The patterns are usually made by egg shells and don’t come off even with a proper wash. The logo of the shop shown in picture 3 symbolizes a traditional Burmese toy that can be thrown as many as you want and never falls flat. Since they are not just a store but also a workshop, I remember visiting this back in school to learn about Bagan’s culture here. There are smaller stores that sell such souvenirs too. Do support them if you ever visit the Ancient City of Bagan.

It was built by the kings of the Bagan Empire from centuries ago and is highly visited by many tourists for its unique pagodas and culture. My family loves to visit Bagan as they are buddhists. I have been to Bagan many times, whether with my family or on school trips. For Hotels, I recommend the ones in New Bagan as they are much newer and less scarier haha. Some say hotels in Old Bagan might be haunted. There really are endless things to learn there. Especially from the locals where they make a living from tourism. The traditional Burmese food there is also great, it is highly recommended as they are very affordable also. Make sure the find a spot to watch the sunset as it is truly magical to experience it there. You can also watch the sunrise from hot air balloons for just ~120 USD too! If you wanna travel right now, please do check with local tourism agencies first to see if it’s safe to go or not first as Myanmar’s situation is complicated. Happy Travels ~

It is in the pagoda number (1612/1620) on the west side of Mima Laung Temple in Old Bagan zone in Mandalay, Myanmar 🇲🇲. What I noticed about this god is that watches are always offered. According to the locals, if you pray at this temple, your prayers will be fulfilled. To settle financial matters, It is reported that they donate hours. Some say that the upper statue and the lower statue represent a mother and child, so if those who want children visit and pray, they can still know that their prayers will be fulfilled. That's why the double statue of Son Su Pan Pagoda, It is in the name of Nairi Pagoda. The image of the Buddha statue is a double statue that covers the original statue from the outside by another one. The statue below is said to have appeared because of the hands of the tart sellers. According to experts' analysis, the statue below is from the (11th) century, and the statue above is from the (12th) century.
