Shalala Beach Resort is yet another popular beach resort in Olango Island aside from Sagastrand Beach Resort, Talima Beach Resort, Olango Paradise Island Resort and the nearby Olango Bonita Inn. Situated in Sitio Suba, Barangay Sabang, it is just a few minutes away from Santa Rosa Port. It will only take you 15 to 20 minutes boat ride from mainland Mactan Island to reach the beautiful island of Olango. This beautiful beach resort has a homy (inato) feel with no swimming pools but the beach there will definitely entice you to stay. You can do kayaking there as evident by. They have several rooms there should you want to stay there for a night or two. Their aircon room is P1500 and their non-aircon room is for P1200 - both good for 2 persons. (Excess is P100 per head). Beautiful place. Lots of activities to enjoy. You can go biking around the island, camping, bird watching or visit their marine sanctuary. It is best to visit the island during weekdays. Not a lot of people are probably aware of this but Olango Island does not actually just refer to a single island but to 7 small islands namely Olango, Sulpa, Guilotongan, Nalusuan, Caohagan, Camungi, and Pangan-an. The entire island group is just 1,030 hectares big and is located about five kilometers from the island of Mactan. #0yentripautumn We went to Olango Island, about 15 minutes by boat from Mactan Island🏝 There seem to be two boat docks to Olango Island, but we boarded at AngasilPort🚢 When we arrived at Olango Island, there were many people waiting in tricycles. The main way to get around on this island is by tricycle or rented bicycle, so we traveled by tricycle💨 We went to a nature reserve. Here you write your name at the entrance and pay the entrance fee. After entering, a man guided us around the sanctuary. It was a very vast area and full of nature. It was a great place🕊️ 🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: Nature

Olango Island wildlife sanctuary, located near Cebu in the Philippines. In Olango Nature Reserve, not only the coral reefs are protected, but migratory birds often come to Olango Island as a wintering ground. it a great place for people from adults to children who want to enjoy nature and those who want to try bird watching. This is a recommended location. After paying the entrance fee , walk to the wide shallow water. There is an observation deck on the large grounds where you can observe mangroves and wild birds. This is a place where you can mainly enjoy bird watching, but there are also resorts nearby. After bird watching and enjoying the natural scenery, it would be a good idea to go to a resort and stay the night. You need to take a boat from Mactan Island, and the fare is about 40 pesos one way. I want people traveling to Cebu to visit this place! The place is Olango Island 🏝️ Boats depart from Cebu Island. The boat fare is 40 pesos one way! As of April 2023, it is about 98 yen in Japanese yen. Lol It departs from a very local boat dock and arrives in less than 20 minutes. When you arrive, there are people lined up on tricycles and motorcycles. It's interesting because you can negotiate and they will take you to various places. The fare changes depending on the driver's mood, so I recommend negotiating in advance! Lol By the way, there are no taxis... 🚕 You will be surrounded by nature and you will be able to learn about local places in the Philippines such as bird watching and the sea, so you can enjoy different scenery and experiences from Cebu Island!
