Secret route! I really regret not discovering this beautiful homestay earlier. I've been to Dayi 10 times, but it wasn't until the 11th time that I came to the beautiful village of Nanan in Dayi and walked into this fresh and artistic homestay. 🏠 🌴 There are many banana trees in the yard, making you feel like you've instantly traveled to 'Little Chiang Mai'. The white house, the yard filled with green trees, easily allows you to take stunning photos reminiscent of Southeast Asia. Outdoor swimming pool, white spiral staircase... the vacation vibe is full. There is also an outdoor camping and barbecue area behind the yard. A large lotus pond at the entrance, sitting on a chair and feeling the breeze, is really pleasant. 🛏️ Stay in a Japanese-style tatami room with two 1.5-meter double beds. The bathroom in the room is designed with separate wet and dry areas, and the whole house has scenic windows. Pulling back the curtains, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the yard. I particularly like the small tea table on the tatami. Although there is an office desk, I still prefer to work and drink tea here. 🍳 The breakfast is rich and nutritious, with my favorite fermented rice balls and cold noodles. For the main meal, I recommend the restaurant's special soup pot. The chicken is very tender, the soup is very delicious, and the vegetables cooked in it are super tasty. ⛱️ The swimming pool is open all the time. Going for a swim in the summer and sitting on the lounge chair is really enjoyable! You can ride the vintage bicycles provided by the homestay to visit the rice fields of Nanan Meicun, take photos, and it’s very photogenic. It is about 5km from Anren Ancient Town, only a ten-minute drive. 👗 It is recommended to wear white dresses or tropical-style clothes. Be sure to bring a versatile hat and sunglasses for posing. Well, to be honest, I didn’t have high expectations for breakfast at first. Although the housing prices are high, the breakfast standards in high-priced B&Bs and resorts are generally not very good. Let alone a buffet, you should be content with just being able to understand the set menu. But, you know what, Alanruo has managed to create the model of a high-end luxury hotel, a semi-self-service model. In addition to traditional self-service meals, there are also Chinese and Western a la carte menus, all with unlimited quantity, just eat until you are full and don’t waste anything. Single-point part: Personally, I recommend the Chinese series. For example, the wonton with red oil is really as good as those made in many breakfast shops outside. It tastes good and has plenty of fillings. Hand-rolled noodles, I want dry mixed noodles, and I chose wide noodles. You can go to the self-service area to choose your own sauce. Wow, I was really impressed by the crazy experience of "2 taels of noodles + half a pound of meat sauce". There are four kinds of meat sauces: mixed peas, mixed sauce, beef brisket with bamboo shoots, and braised spare ribs. You can scoop and add whatever you like, just choose the one that makes you happy. I basically just eat some meat mixed with some hand-rolled wide noodles, and it’s so delicious, it’s really luxurious! It tasted good, I was very happy. Self-service section: Small cakes, simple puff pastry, toast, etc., as well as several good jams, rich fruits, several cereals, drinks, freshly squeezed, fried eggs, vegetarian dishes, grilled sausages, etc. Anyway, it looks so fresh and delicious, and the combination is also good.
