A trip to Yerong beach is one of the most exciting adventures that happened to us in Hainan! It is a huge beach, that seems to be endless, with a fabulous white sand! It is quite wild, or you can say 'undeveloped', but for us it was an obvious advantage. There are nearly no people at all, except several fishermen with their nets. No one will disturb you here, and you can swim whenever you want! 🚌🚎🚕 It is not that easy to get here, even if you'll take a taxi to the beach, it would be a problem to find a taxi that will bring you back to the city. The road is quite bumpy and dusty as well, so even though you can always rent a scooter, we would definitely recommend to rent a car for several days. You can use sharing service immediately upon arrival to Baimajin train station (白马井站）. 🍔🍟🥪 There are no cafes or restaurants on this beach, so be prepared to take some food and drinks with you. Ok, photos might be not that impressive, but the polished texture of these ancient stones under the palm of your hand can provide you an absolutely amazing experience! These stones have been producing slat for centuries, they are scorched under the harsh southern sun, and hand polished by tens of generations of local people. To be honest, I was not expecting that much from that site, but with a first touch we caught that sentimental poetic wave. So if you are interested in history, this attraction is definitely worth visiting! 🚕🚎🚌 We would recommend to take a car for several days immediately at Baimajin train station (you can use car sharing services), coz there are plenty of amazing attractions around Danzhou, like wild volcanic beaches, distant fishermans villages, etc etc, where it is not so easy to get to. 🍔🍟🥪 There are many small cafes right on the spot, where you can enjoy some fresh sea food. Of course, these places are super ascetic, with plastic chairs and so on, but local food can be really delicious here! 🏵 Of course, you can buy this local salt here, but to be honest, it doesn't seem to be produced with this ancient method. But of course, it is totally up to you in what to believe😉 To summ up, it can be some new experience that won't take too much time. Getting There - go by car to 中国海南省儋州市峨蔓镇; from Haikou 2.5h car drive; from Danzhou 70 minutes Attractions - Geological Park with black rock coast, cliffs and sand beach. in winter almost no people. great place to be alone and make some nice nature pictures. Hotels - no hotel nearby but you can find some in Danzhou or Haikou Food & Restaurants - better bring your own food in winter / off season. there are some local restaurants which likely will be open in summer. #nationalpark

Dongpo Academy This is where Su Dongpo gave lectures after he was demoted to Hainan. That is, a juren was born here in the second year, and a jinshi was born here in the ninth year, ending the history of Hainan without a jinshi. 💰Ticket cost: Off-season tickets are 21 yuan (May 1st-September 30th), peak season tickets are 25 yuan (October 1st-April 30th), and app reservations are 20 yuan. ⛰Attraction guide: The scenic area is divided into a free park area and a paid academy area. There is no ticket check at the gate, and tickets are only checked when entering the innermost academy. The park revolves around a lake of lotus flowers, which are in full bloom in May. There is a cruise ship pier, but it was not open when we went. Walking past the Dongpo Bridge, on the left is the Quanxue Garden. The golden thatched roof and the surrounding green coconut trees are still very good as a photo background, but the sun was too strong when we went there. Further ahead is the entrance to the academy, which has a wine-carrying pavilion and wine-carrying hall and a bronze statue of Dongpo. I walked around the free park area. It was so hot. It's been two weeks since I returned from Hainan, and I've carefully compiled this authentic travel guide. International Food Street Haikou Flower Island, Danzhou The Food Street features over 10 distinctive architectural styles, including Ming and Qing dynasties, Suzhou, Sichuan, Lingnan, Southeast Asia, German Green, Japanese Kyoto, and French. It's said that you can eat your way around the world without leaving the country. Stepping into the street, you'll feel like you've traveled back to the prosperous Ming and Qing dynasties. The bustling street is lined with comfortable chairs that look like floral bedspreads. The bustling crowd and a wide variety of traditional dishes will make you feel like you're in a different world. Stroll through the architectural complex that blends Lingnan cultural style, and indulge in various Cantonese dishes. The slow-cooked clear soup, Cantonese morning tea, and authentic Cantonese dishes are endless, offering you a taste of Lingnan. The Haikou Flower Island Food Street is also known as the International Commercial Street, including China Street (Lingnan, Sichuan, Huizhou styles), Southeast Asia Street (Thailand), German Street, Japanese Street, French Street, Dutch Street, Mediterranean Street, American Street, Italian Street, and Russian Street. Due to time constraints, we only visited China Street during our trip to Haikou Flower Island Food Street. It is said that due to the low tourist flow and the long detour to the distant streets, only China Street, which is closest to the central park, is popular. The other remote streets are very deserted, but they are worth a visit from a sightseeing perspective. Next time!

Jinli International Hotel, Huanhua Island, Huanhua Island Tong World, Huanhua Island, Danzhou After experiencing the lively and bustling traditional custom of the White Horse Well's 16th Day of the First Lunar Month, take a look at the beautiful scenery of Huanhua Island. Although I have been to Huanhua Island many times, there are still many places I haven't visited. This time, I entered Huanhua Island from Island No. 1, passed Tong World along the ring road, and entered the road leading to Jinli International Hotel. I took a look at Tong World Amusement Park from the outside along the hotel's ring road. Huanhua Island Tong World covers five major themed areas: Chinese mythology, Western European fairy tales, ancient Greek mythology, American tribal fairy tales, and ancient Arabian fairy tales, with over 30 international large-scale amusement projects. It must be quite lively inside Tong World now, but the exterior looks a bit deserted. However, looking at the world from a different angle, it really feels like looking at a ridge from the side, with different heights and distances.
