Gorgeous sweeping views throughout Rocks and along the Harbour Bridge, across the Harbour to northern Sydney and West up the river. Lovely old trees, some well maintained grass and a scattering of Park benches make this a picnic destination in good weather. I went with a group of friends to sketch the view and the were two separate catered picnics, a couple of girls filming a dancer routine in the rotunda, people scattered around drawing and reading, and innumerable others strolling or relaxing in the grass.

🇦🇺 Sydney is a great place to watch the sunset. Locals come here for picnics! 🧺
Another recommended place for everyone to watch the sunset in Sydney
It's Observatory Hill in Sydney
Located on a hill in the city center 🌳
It feels a bit like Garden Hill in Hong Kong
It’s easy to get to the location on the mountain to watch the sunset🌅
Here you can directly overlook Sydney Harbor
View of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge
And the environment is quiet and there is a large grassland
Many locals come here to sit on the ground at dusk
It is recommended that you prepare a picnic mat and some snacks🧺
The scenery during the day and at night is also very different~

Top Vantage Points: Sydney Harbour Bridge 📸
I spent a few days in Sydney and I loved it! The Harbour Bridge is one of the main attractions and I really enjoyed traveling to different locations around the city to photograph it against different backdrops. Here were my favorite locations:
1️⃣ Observatory Hill Rotunda - In my opinion this is the best viewpoint in Sydney! The best part is that it is walking distance to the Sydney CBD!
2️⃣ Blues Point Reserve - Another good viewpoint but you’ll need to take public transport. Take either the T1 or T9 train 🚇 to North Sydney and then walk for about 20 minutes down Blue Points Road. Or you can take the ferry ⛴️ from Circular Quay to McMahon’s Point!
3️⃣ Mrs Macquaries Point - Another popular spot near Sydney’s Botanical Gardens 🪴 After soaking up the skyline it’s a nice place to take a walk and admire the variety of trees and flowers on display!
4️⃣ Sydney Harbor Bridge - The walk across the bridge is worth it. Take some really cool pictures of the bridge as well as the city below.
Have fun exploring Sydney! 📸

Must See and Eat in 2 days - Sydney, Australia
Limited time in Sydney (only 2 days), one place must go - Observatory Hill before 4:30pm to get the best view of Opera House and Sydney Bridge during sunset and light up. 2nd recommendation is buffet at Epircurean - Crown Sydney Casino Hotel - keep refilling fresh and juicy seafood incl. local oyster, bay🦞, king prawns, 🍣 and many choices of dessert then going out to balcony and have city skyline If you were me - seafood lover, Fish Market is never missed out - live South Australin Rock Lobster in different size (3 kgs or above) with free noodles 😋 #freehotelstay
