Jiapo Town—Kantou Ancient Village As the starting point of the Anhui-Zhejiang Sky Road, also known as the "Jiangnan Sky Road", this Huizhou-style village was built in the Ming Dynasty. It is free to visit and park, and you can finish your visit in 30–40 minutes. It is the settlement of the Xu family, and the ancestral hall in the village records the anecdotes of local celebrities. The water street is 700–800 meters long, with clear streams and water ducks playing in the water, making it perfect for stream tracing. The ancient village is not commercialized and is the filming location of the movie "The Story of Cheng Huan". Meiganling Viewing Platform It is close to Jiapo Town and is also open to the public for free. You can finish your visit in 30–40 minutes. The terraces here are like the fingerprints of the earth, layer upon layer. When the rapeseed flowers bloom in March and April, it is no less beautiful than Wuyuan; during the autumn harvest season, it is also as beautiful as a fairyland, with rolling wheat waves. Longchuan Scenic Area The ticket price is CNY 75. After 18:00, you can enter for free after the local ticket inspector is off duty, but you cannot visit the Hu Ancestral Hall and other memorial halls without a ticket (closed at night). It is recommended to visit for 1–2 hours. Parking is CNY 5 per time. Longchuan is the Feng Shui treasure land of the Hu family. It is a thousand-year-old village with well-preserved houses, a strong sense of life, and little commercial atmosphere. The Rainbow Blessing Bridge in the scenic area is a highlight, and it is said that Hu Xueyan once prayed here. There are many restaurants outside the Longchuan Scenic Area, but the restaurants run by the original residents in the scenic area are more authentic and offer accommodation. We recommend Longdaichuanshang Homestay, which is close to the Rainbow Blessing Bridge and offers great value for money. 🚗Transportation Guide: You can drive there and enjoy the scenery of Southern Anhui along the way; you can also go to Xuancheng first, and then take the local bus or charter a car to the various attractions in Jixi. If you don't want to be crowded in the scenic area, come to Jixi, Southern Anhui. It is niche and charming, giving you a different travel experience.

'The hidden sea of flowers on terraced fields' - Jiapeng Meigan Ridge terraced fields. In the sunny months of March and April, amidst the layers of terraced fields, flowers bloom in profusion. Along the winding mountain roads with eighteen turns, they reflect the ancient Huizhou villages and residential buildings, creating a beautiful scenic line under the shelter of surrounding peaks and the interplay of yellow and green colors. The rapeseed flowers of Jiapeng's terraced fields combine the grandeur of Yunnan's Yuanyang terraced fields with the elegance of Jiangxi's Wuyuan Jiangling rapeseed flowers, presenting a beauty that is more rustic and delicate, breathtakingly beautiful, soothing to the soul, and more imposing. It has been selected as one of the 'Photography Creation Bases' by the Anhui Photographers Association. Jiapeng Township was originally named Kantou (Kantou), with many of its residential buildings dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. With elaborate brackets and flying eaves, the exquisite carving techniques, the residential buildings with white walls and black tiles are closely arranged. The ancient alleys are paved with blue stones, and the paths are winding. In the small village alleys, the horse-head walls are stacked layer upon layer, with eaves pointing skyward, crisscrossing each other. The village's attractions include 'Three Screens,' 'Five Mounds,' and 'Eight Views,' and experts in ancient architecture praise it as 'a pearl of ancient Huizhou villages.' Jiapeng Township was renamed in honor of Xu Jiapeng, a top-class hero and first-class combat hero born here, who 'sacrificed himself to block the gunholes' during the Korean War.
