🍽️ Detailed Review
Monjayaki, commonly called 'pigeon vomit', has a bizarre visual, and is one of the representative common people's foods in Tokyo, but it is a menu that cannot be compared to its addictiveness.
This time, I visited MATSUDO MONJA, a Monjayaki specialty restaurant popular among locals in Matsudo City,
and from the exterior to the interior, I felt the atmosphere of an izakaya, perfect for a drink.
First, I ordered the basic Monjayaki.
The "handsome staff" skillfully cooked it on the iron plate,
and unlike its fierce appearance, it tasted salty and savory, making it the best combination as a real beer snack.
The additional menu items I ordered because I liked the taste were
"Beef Tataki and Seafood Monjayaki"
Beef Tataki was fresh and cleanly cooked, perfect as a delicacy,
and the seafood monjayaki had a strong seafood flavor,
but personally, the basic monja that I ate for the first time was more balanced.
