In the "Little England" town of NUWARA ELIYA, southeast of Kandy, Sri Lanka, backed by beautiful mountains, river valleys, waterfalls and tea gardens, the temperature is cool and comfortable, attracting tourists from all over the world to take a summer vacation.
The pink post office in the town centre was established during the renaissance of the Tudor dynasty in the United Kingdom. It has a history of more than 120 years, with red brick and white windows and a tiled roof. It also has an iconic clock tower of an English building. Oh, the whole is very eye-catching.
The post office is still busy dealing with the newspapers and newspapers in the town. Since it has arrived, I will choose a postcard from the souvenir shop and send a warm greeting of pink from here!
This British Tudor revival-style building is located in the centre of Nuwara Eliya, built by the British in 1894 and has a bell tower on the roof.
Because the exterior of the building is made of red bricks, plus the white mud ash between the bricks, it looks pink in the distance, so it is called the pink post office.
On the stamp of Sri Lanka dated 26 December 1990 to commemorate World Post Day, the Pink Post Office was printed on a stamp of 10 rupees. Nowadays, in addition to the functions of the post office itself, it has become a sightseeing spot. The

Sent back to China, the stamp is 35 rupees, very cheap. Then it was delivered into the retro postbox. This postcard is heavy and meaningful.
Before coming to Lanka, if you had any impression of Nuwara Eliya, it seems that there is only this pink post office except for the surrounding MACKWOODS tea factory and Horton Plain. In fact, it is not so special, the red bricks are built into a small building.
Perhaps it's about the town, there are no more other highlights, this post office that every visitor will pass through becomes a rare and beautiful scenery in the town.
Located in the heart of the town of Nuwara Eliya, the Pink Post Office, built in the 16th century, has been in existence for centuries and is still open today. Many visitors come here to post a postcard. There are a lot of local beauty and humanities postcards in the
post office, which really makes people dazzle. I chose a few more representative ones: tea pickers, elephant husbands, stilt fishermen, lion rock murals, and beautiful beaches.
Send back postcards from China, do not need to translate Chinese addresses in English, just write To
