Bali Bliss: Sunsets, Serenity, and Fusion Feasts
#indonesiatrip #bali #awesomepic
Bali, Indonesia, is a paradise that blends natural beauty with cultural richness, offering something for every traveler. From golden beaches to world-class resorts, it’s the perfect destination for unwinding and soaking in unforgettable moments, especially during the island’s spectacular sunsets. During my time in Bali, I discovered some of its most magical spots, indulged in local fusion cuisine, and even ventured to the stunning island of Nusa Penida.
One of the highlights was catching a sunset at the chic W Hotel Bar in Seminyak. As the sun dipped into the horizon, the vibrant colors filled the sky, creating a dreamy backdrop. The atmosphere was lively, with chilled music and stylish crowds, making it the perfect spot to sip on cocktails while enjoying the cool breeze. The trendy vibe of W Hotel is balanced by its laid-back ambiance, offering a great escape from the day’s adventures.
I also experienced the beauty of a sunset at Kempinski Hotel, where the view was simply breathtaking. Kempinski is renowned for its luxury and elegance, and watching the sun sink into the ocean from their picturesque lounge area was a truly serene experience. As the sky shifted from blue to orange and purple, the peaceful setting of the hotel offered a more tranquil and intimate sunset, perfect for a quiet evening with a refreshing drink in hand.
For my stay, I chose the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, which provided a perfect balance of Balinese hospitality and modern luxury. Located on a pristine stretch of Nusa Dua beach, the resort felt like a peaceful haven, with lush gardens, traditional Balinese architecture, and the soothing sound of waves. It was the ideal place to relax after a day of exploring Bali’s vibrant culture. The on-site spa offered indulgent treatments that made the stay even more rejuvenating.
No trip to Bali would be complete without indulging in its local food, and I was thrilled to experience Indonesian fusion cuisine. The blend of traditional Indonesian flavors with modern twists brought out the rich spices and vibrant tastes of the region. From satay and gado-gado with unexpected contemporary elements to seafood dishes bursting with freshness, the meals were a delightful exploration of Bali’s culinary creativity.
Adding a touch of adventure, I took a day trip to Nusa Penida, an island off the southeast coast of Bali. Known for its dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and pristine beaches, Nusa Penida is a paradise for nature lovers. I visited the famous Kelingking Beach, where the cliffside view is shaped like a T-Rex, offering jaw-dropping vistas of the turquoise sea below. The island’s hidden gems, like Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong, showcased some of the most striking natural landscapes I’ve ever seen. Nusa Penida’s raw beauty and secluded beaches offered a serene contrast to the bustling life of mainland Bali.

Located along the beach with direct access to the seaside, a mere stroll from the lobby, past the pools leads you directly to the pristine beach, where the azure waters and golden sands create an idyllic backdrop for endless family fun.
After a day of sun-soaked adventures, indulge in beachside dining at Tamarind Restaurant, where fresh seafood delights and tropical cocktails await. With the sound of waves as your soundtrack, dining becomes a sensory experience, offering a taste of paradise right at your fingertips.
For my next family getaway, I wish to visit Kyoto and immerse in the beautiful culture and have a picnic with my family under beautiful sakura trees.

Bamboo Architecture at Tamarind Mediterranean Restaurant
#familytrips2024
The bamboo architecture of Tamarind Mediterranean Restaurant at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa is simply breathtaking. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped by the natural warmth and elegance of bamboo, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The seamless integration of traditional Balinese craftsmanship with modern design principles is truly commendable.
Every detail, from the intricate bamboo ceiling to the airy open spaces, contributes to an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're indulging in the Mediterranean cuisine and seafood offered or simply sipping drinks while enjoying the ambiance, Tamarind's bamboo architecture sets the stage for a memorable relaxing time with the family.
✨ I would love to visit Kyoto Bamboo Forest with it's serene and beautiful environment where children can explore and learn about nature. I image walking through the towering bamboo groves would be like stepping into a fairytale world, sparking curiosity and imagination in both kids and adults.

Nusa Dua Beach Resort is an old brand hotel in Bali. It has very good beaches and public swimming pools. The downside is that there are too many people taking wedding dresses, sometimes it is a bit noisy.
The door to the sky at the entrance of the hotel is very beautiful. When I haven't checked in, I can't help but sing in the car. It's a good place to take a wedding photo.
After checking in, start exploring the hotel. The first stop is of course the gate of the sky at the gate! The carved wooden door in the hotel corridor is also very nice. The walls are not simple decorations, but also complex carvings. I just played this halfway for half an hour.
The corridor came out and passed the door of the sky. At this time, there was no one, so I took a quick photo. The buildings on Bali have been seen in the past few days. The most distinctive feature is the gate of good and evil. The shape of the door is like being split in half by the middle. It is also called Tongtianmen and Yinyangmen. ", "Welcome the door." This kind of door not only appears in the temple, but also appears in the design of houses and parks.
Baline people believe that everything has a soul, and believe that the good and the evil are evenly matched, regardless of the outcome, but when people pass through the "Yin and Yang Gate", good will be retained, evil will be filtered out This idea is really good~
According to my observation of staying at the hotel for 2 nights, if I want to take a photo of the hotel, avoid the wedding dress. You can come and take photos after 9:00 to 10:00 and 4:00 pm, and there will be a lot less people.
