Best Hotel in Karawang. Best hotel location. Beside the biggest shopping mall in Karawang. Sky bridge from hotel to mall. The hotel very big enough for 4 stars hotel. Big lobby and big parking area in basement. Also for restaurant and swimming pool. Breakfast many variants but the taste is not special for Padma group. The staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed at Suite Executive. The room is very big around 54m2. Dressing room, small living room with tv, pantry with complete equipments (refrigerator, microwave, capsule coffee maker), small dining table for 2, big bed room and big bathroom (bathtub and shower box with separate toilet). Cipule Lake is in Walahar, Ciampel and it is around 11 kilometers from Karawang. This lake is very unique. In the middle of lake, there is a scenery of mountain. This mountain becomes the beautiful background of Cipule lake. Another uniqueness is the way of boat there. The boat is run by controller  who pulled steel cable from the lakeside to Love Island. Boen San Bio Temple was built in 1689 by a Chinese merchant, Lim Tau Koen. The temple is a place to honor the God of Earth (Kim Sin Khongco Hok Tek Tjeng Sin). The Chinese believe that for the prayer to be granted by the God of Earth they must first do good deeds to others. Museum Benteng Heritage. Took us a year to finally visit Museum Benteng in Tangerang. We’re also here in 2017 but it’s closed due to Ramadan holiday week. As for myself, my personal reasons to come are the book ‘Hikayat Keluarga Cina Benteng’ and the film ‘The Last Barongsai’. - The founder, Udaya Halim, warmly welcomed and guided our trip with his amazing knowledge of Indonesian history. I was thrilled when he reshared an ancestry theory: no entity could possibly hold an 100% identity (race & religion, what we are & where we’re from). You can’t take pictures inside but Udaya kindly brought us to his private music room where a copy of original Indonesia Raya record was residing. What a trip.
