Changchun Beihu National Wetland Park, also known as Changdongbei Urban Ecological Wetland Park, is named after the State Forestry Administration. Kazakhstan Railway, East to North + Yuanda Street was approved as a national 4A-level tourist attraction on May 29, 2014. Changchun Beihu Wetland Park covers an area of 11.97 square kilometers with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. Construction began in 2010 and officially opened on July 28, 2012. It is divided into two parts: the inner lake area and the outer river area. Neihu District is the original flood discharge area of Yitong River. It has been transformed into a wetland park after dredging and building roads and bridges. The wetland park has completed a greening area of 3.15 million square meters. White Bark Willow, Golden Weeping Willow, Golden Branch Willow, Weeping Willow, Dragon Beard Willow, Mantou Willow, Sanrui Willow, Mongolian Willow, Songjiang Willow, River Willow, Basket Willow, Rhubarb Willow, Korean Willow, American Fiber Willow, etc. In addition, a total of 186 varieties of trees with a total of 69,700 trees were planted; a total of 144 varieties of shrubs with a total of 15,300 trees were planted.
