Spectacular! Massive May Day Fireworks Show at Nishan Sacred Land in Shandong
Shandong has historically been a province rich in Chinese traditional culture and etiquette. When visiting this Qilu region, how could you not visit Confucius's hometown? Nishan Sacred Land in Qufu - a spiritual homeland for Chinese people - is a must-see.

Must-try experiences (night tours are more immersive):
"Paying Respect to the Teacher" - Participate in the traditional teacher-honoring ceremony in front of the solemn Confucius statue, feeling the wisdom passed down from the "Teacher of All Ages." In the flickering candlelight, converse with sages across millennia - the ceremony is incredibly meaningful!
The Top Scholar Parade is also spectacular, starting around 10:30 AM. After flower offerings and drum-beating ceremonies, combined with performances, you'll be immersed in the rich Confucian cultural atmosphere!
"Golden Sound and Jade Vibration" is absolutely worth watching! This epic performance in three parts and nine chapters perfectly blends poetry, music, dance with modern stage technology. The journey from "ordinary" to "sage" unfolds through light and shadow, with every frame a visual feast of traditional culture!
"The World Returns to Benevolence" light show in the Benevolence Hall offers a perfect fusion of light and shadow. The visual spectacle combines water screen projections and laser effects to interpret Confucian thought.
Standing at the center of light and shadow, you'll feel as if you're inside a Chinese ink painting, experiencing the philosophical beauty of "the benevolent love others."
Handicraft experience: Choose and make your own fragrance sachet.
Night tour highlights and fireworks show:
"Nishan Sacred Show" features drone performances, light and water shows, and amazing fireworks.
The drone matrix transforms into Analects scrolls and images of Confucius's travels through various states in the night sky. Combined with water screen projections and fireworks, lasers and flames create a spectacular sky show! The super fireworks version will definitely make you exclaim "worth every penny of the ticket price"!
Recommended photo spots for Hanfu outfits: Below the Confucius statue, by the sculptures in the Seventy-two Sages Corridor, on the steps of the Great Learning Hall, and in the light corridor of the Benevolence Hall (Hanfu night scenes look stunning under the fireworks show).
