We went glamping in Okutama! ⛰🍖 We stayed at the "Fureai Glamping & BBQ" venue. There were six of us, and the price was 15,600 yen per person! Each tent had one large two-person bed and four futons lined up. There were plenty of amenities, such as a hair dryer, mirror, and BBQ cooking utensils (tongs, knife, cutting board, scissors, etc.), and there was also an outlet inside the tent so you could charge your devices. No large insects got into the tent (as long as you closed the entrance tightly), but small flying insects did get in, so be careful if you are worried about that⚠️ The shower rooms (2) and toilets were shared facilities. We bought BBQ ingredients at the nearby Aeon Mall. We also enjoyed fireworks at the glamping site. 🎆 At the Hibara Cave in Okutama, the inside of the cave was lit up and it was beautiful. The price was reasonable at 200 yen per person. However, inside the cave, it was cool at 10°C, and there were many steep stairs, so be careful. At the Hikawa International Trout Fishing Area, you can enjoy trout fishing. Fishing rods were available for rent for 1800 yen per person. You can catch up to five rainbow trout, and you can even grill and eat them! ! It was very delicious 😋😋 I only caught one in about an hour and a half, but my friend caught four! ! 🐟Looking around, there were quite a few fish being caught even during the day.

I climbed "Bonooriyama" in Okutama, Tokyo ⛰ This time I started from the Hanno area! just outside of Tokyo there are many beautiful places to visit and do much nature to enjoy. you can take the subway line out to Okutama where you will find this turquoise water and peaceful scenery. There are also places to eat or do a picnic and cut cafes.

Ome River is a beautiful place to stroll along with friends and family that is near the base of Mt. Mitake in Ome. We went here on summer and had a beer while dipping our feet in the water. I like the rock formation surrounding the river making it more mesmerizing. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway

#TokyoAttractions Yama no Furusato Village Campground is a great campground near the Okutama Lake area, managed by the Tokyo Ome Prefecture Office, well maintained, and the inventory and customer service provide ample information for campers. There are plenty of places for tents, water, fire pits, and restrooms that many people can use. If you prefer to stay in a campsite during your trip, then this campsite is the best choice. The parking lot is a bit far but the staff will take the initiative to pick you up and drive you back to the office. This is one of the good things about their service.

#Tokyo Attractions The scenery of Mt. Gozen is beautiful. Starting from the Tochiyo Sightseeing Parking Lot, we continued on the paved road. Most of the first half was well maintained and easy. The difficulty is relatively low and does not require much physical strength to complete. This is a hiking course full of Okutama style. The first place you will encounter is the "Gozenyama Trailhead", which has a slightly steep start. The Okutama Forest Experience course can be a bit unsatisfactory. The top is not open nor wide. #Tokyo Attractions Okutama Athletic Park is a beautiful park, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the wind was calm, so it was a very comfortable place to hear the sound of your own footsteps. Sitting on a sunny bench, I accidentally looked towards Okutama Station. The view was nice, but there was icicles and frost under my feet. Maybe it's quite cold. I didn't feel particularly cold while walking. It's a bit difficult to reach here by going uphill or on foot. There is a parking lot, so it is recommended to drive there. There is a baseball field but it is very quiet when not in use.

#Tokyo Attractions The Hikawa International Trout Fishing Area is about a ten-minute walk from the station. You can quickly reach it while walking and feeling the negative ions. There are no dangerous places, so it is safe to bring your children. Visit after arriving at the camp. The staff was very kind and taught us how to fish. I caught four fish in an hour, but it seems difficult to catch them except when they are stocked. Because of the cooking utensils, it tasted like it was steamed, but the meat was soft and delicious. #Tokyo Attractions Bai Miao Bridge is an exciting bridge with a limestone outcrop outside the bridge. One can see it from the other side, but Mount Buko in Chichibu is much better so it's not worth making a special trip there. From this bridge, you can see an Okutama industrial drag chain. To get a bird's eye view of it all, it seems necessary to cross the bridge and climb up using ropes and chains. There is no parking lot nearby, but the Nishi-Tokyo bus to the limestone caves runs along this narrow road, with bus stops both above and below, so if you have a motorcycle, you can temporarily park your bike. The buses hardly come but the view is nice.

The Water and Green Friendship Hall offers beautiful scenery and is located near the Odawara Lake bus stop. The museum provides detailed information about the history and environment of Odawara Lake. Admission is free and it's worth a visit. There are elevators to access the upper and lower floors, and a circular ramp that allows you to walk up. The first floor has restrooms and high-quality drinking fountains. The restaurant can get crowded, and you need to sign up and wait in line. On weekends, the wait is about half an hour, which is acceptable. Even if you temporarily leave to use the restroom and miss your call, the staff will still let you in. You order food using a self-service machine, pay in cash, and the process is clear and straightforward. The food is served quickly, making it a great spot to visit.

#Tokyo Attractions The Maishan Floating Bridge is very beautiful. Coming from the Xiaohe Nei Dam, you will pass through several caves, and after reaching the red Fenggu Bridge, you will pass the last cave. The entrance to the floating bridge is on the left side of the cave exit. Walking down the long stairs, the scenery of mountains and waters is very beautiful. If you go over it from the floating bridge, the road will be suddenly closed after five kilometers without any warning, so be careful.
