Chongqing! A budget hotel worth a second visit! It was so nice to stay here!
On the first day, I chose the Sheraton, a landmark twin-tower building on Nanbin Road in Nan'an District. It is full of retro style, resplendent and magnificent. My child loved the magnificent European-style lobby, the little angel statues, the golden fountain, and the Roman columns. The indoor heated pool was at a suitable temperature, and the three lanes were spacious and impressive. It was a pity that I didn't bring my swimming gear. The room had a European retro charm, but it was a bit dated. The ventilation in the bathroom could be improved, and the soundproofing on the same floor at night could be improved, as I could occasionally hear the sound of guests coming and going and the sound of doors closing and slight noise.
On the second day, I moved to the Le Méridien, which is competitively priced among five-star hotels. It is in a great location, right next to the Nanping Station on Metro Line 9, and Wanda Plaza is just a stone's throw away, with a wide range of dining options. The room was well soundproofed, allowing guests to have a quiet rest. However, the air circulation in the hotel lobby, room floors, and elevators was a bit slow and could be improved.
On the third night, I dined at Niccolo, and the prosperity of Jiangbei District and the grandeur of the IFS International Financial Center were impressive. The prime location on the 62nd floor offers a view of the Jialing River and Yuzhong District, and the executive lounge offers a view of the splendid and charming night view of Hongya Cave after the lights are on. Dining here is elegant, and the surprise of a young lady singing opera adds to the pleasant atmosphere.
On the fourth day, I stayed at the Jinling Grand Hotel Chongqing, which is close to Jiangbei Airport and adjacent to Central Park. As a Nanjing native, I have a special affection for the local brand, and its new Chinese-style decoration is elegant and generous, with new facilities that are satisfactory. The room facilities are novel, the dry and wet separation design is reasonable, the environment is quiet and peaceful, and there are cultural and tourism books introducing Chongqing attractions, which are convenient for tourists to learn more about the local culture. As the hotel is relatively new, the air conditioning system makes a slight noise when running, and the room air is slightly dry, so you can humidify and moisturize yourself to improve comfort.
