The Niccolo Chongqing Hotel - Top-notch landscape and service I had long planned to stay at the Niccolo Chongqing Hotel and was pleased to check in as expected. I booked an N1 city view king room, and the hotel called the day before to ask about any room requirements and check-in time. My only request was for a higher floor. I arrived at the hotel around 3 pm on Saturday. The hotel is located in Chongqing IFS Guojin, and you can take the elevator from the third floor of the mall directly to the 62nd-floor sky lobby. There were quite a few people checking in over the weekend, and I waited about 10 minutes when I checked in. The service was acceptable; they helped press the elevator button and guided me to my room. The room was on the 59th floor. N1 is considered a basic room, but it felt quite spacious upon entering. It had all the standard amenities, including a bathtub, without feeling cramped. The view was nice, but unfortunately, it was a foggy day, so visibility wasn't great. From this room, you could even see a bit of the river view. Housekeeping came to turn down the bed before 5 pm, which was very nice. The room provided mineral water from Baishishan, and the toiletries were small bottles of Lorenzo Villoresi, a fragrance I personally like very much. The room's minibar was charged, but the N3 room type is free, so I might try that next time. I had a cocktail at the bar in the evening, and the night view was fantastic.
