NY Aquarium Wild Life Cincervation Area: Cute and Fashion
#newyorktrip
The New York Aquarium in Coney Island is the only aquarium in New York City. It is managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society. The aquarium's mission is to preserve wildlife and habitats around the world through science, conservation measures, education and inspiring people to appreciate nature. The New York Aquarium invites you to see hundreds of species of aquatic animals in the midst of a specially recreated natural habitat for them.
In the New York Aquarium, you can find hundreds of aquatic animal species living in a specially created natural habitat. This is a great place to visit if you are in New York with children. You will see over 10,000 fish and other marine animals in 16 different habitats. For example, sea otters and penguins swimming among rocks and trees from the northeast Pacific Ocean. In addition, Ocean Wonders: Sharks was opened here in 2018! — a large aquarium and information center dedicated entirely to sharks. Also visit the Aquatheater to see the acrobatic tricks performed by sea lions. Performances of animals and trainers take place several times a day.
By the way, the aquarium was originally located in Battery Park, Lower Manhattan, and first opened its doors on December 10, 1896. The animals were temporarily moved to the Bronx Zoo when that location closed in 1941. The zoo reopened in Coney Island on June 6, 1957.
Volunteers work at the New York Aquarium. They will be happy to answer any of your questions. Once you get inside, check the feeding schedule. It's very interesting, so don't miss it. Also, visit the 4D cinema, which combines a 3D movie with additional sensory effects.
