🎈Compared to the many travel destinations on the east coast, the west coast is much less crowded. 😎 Qizi Bay has a unique semi-arid coastline. The east coast is blue skies, clear water, and white sand, while Qizi Bay is cacti, reefs, and yellow sand. The scenery is completely different. 👏
✨Qizi Bay Kaiyuan Resort is the only hotel worth staying at in this area. The area is not very developed, but the hotel designers know this and have gone all out on the hotel hardware. 🥳 There's even a water park, which is amazing. 😜 Room rates are low all year round, and the price of a voucher on Little Yellow Fish can be as low as 300+ per night. The hotel is relatively large and well-built, and the low price makes me wonder if it can make a profit. 🤔 It's really worth staying at once. If it closes down one day, you won't be able to stay there. I give it four and a half stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨
💥Core Advantages:
The scenery of Qizi Bay is completely different from the east coast, and Kaiyuan Resort is the hidden gem here. The most beautiful sunset is not in the hotel, but in the nearby Dajiao Park. Climb up the boardwalk along the coast and sit on the hillside to watch the sunset. The desolate, lonely, and extreme beauty is amazing. 😍
🏠Room Selection:
To accommodate the design of the building's facade, the height and openness of the balconies in different rooms vary greatly. So be sure to avoid rooms with small balconies and choose rooms with protruding balconies for better views and lighting. 😉
🍱Dining:
Most of the larger restaurants in Changhua Town are a rip-off, with ridiculously high prices. A stir-fried meat dish costs 68 or 88, and it may not even taste good. 😒 I only recommend Xiangqin Night Market in town. The taste is acceptable, but you may have to wait for a table when it's busy. You can also eat the hotel's buffet hot pot, which has fresh seafood, a wide variety of ingredients, desserts, fruits, and ice cream. Or drive to Wulie Town to eat Wulie mutton. 😋
👍Pros:
1️⃣Grand style and solid materials! The hotel is large, with a grand, antique architectural style that highlights Chinese style. The entertainment facilities include a water park with a lazy river, a big horn, a wave pool, and a water slide, as well as a small area with a few small animals. There is an outdoor badminton court, a table tennis room, and a KTV on the first floor. The rooms are also well-built, with double sinks, thick disposable slippers, and fine workmanship. I have to say that the hotel is well-built and competitive anywhere in Hainan. It's a pity it's in Qizi Bay. 😜
2️⃣The seafood porridge at breakfast is full of seafood and worth a try. There are many kinds of fruits, bread, and cakes, as well as local snacks.
3️⃣The buffet hot pot for dinner is delicious. Buy a voucher for 150 per person. The seafood is fresh, as if it was just caught. You don't have to leave the hotel to eat.
4️⃣If you don't want to go to Dajiao Park, the hotel also has a boardwalk that extends to the beach below, with beautiful scenery along the way.
5️⃣Cheap price, 300–400 per night is worth it.
🙅Cons:
1️⃣Strictly speaking, there is no beach. First, you have to walk a long way down the boardwalk, and second, the beach is full of "chess piece" shaped stones, which is why Qizi Bay is named. But you can go to the sea.
2️⃣Too remote! There are too few dining and sightseeing options, so it's basically only suitable for staying at the hotel. I recommend staying no more than 2 nights.
💕In short, Qizi Bay Kaiyuan Resort has some minor drawbacks, but it's really worth experiencing once. Go for it! 💃🕺
