Where to go for the holidays? | Ningbo 5 Days 4 Nights Parent-Child Tour
Hello everyone, I'm Jingqing, and I'm here to share my experience of where to go for the holidays .
Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen are undoubtedly always crowded, but Ningbo during the holidays is less noisy and crowded compared to other cities, and you can enjoy free 🆓 subway rides (free tickets during the holiday period), experiencing the novelty of different modes of transportation in one city.
🗓The itinerary is as follows:
Day 1: Departure and First Encounter
Set off in the early morning, arrive in Ningbo in the afternoon, and take a taxi to Jianpan Zen House.
🏨Hotel: Ningbo Jianpan Zen House (Fenghua Xikou Scenic Area Buddhist College Store) - A heritage hotel with great value for money. The name doesn't sound very impressive, but it's surprisingly small and exquisite inside, perfect for an afternoon of tea, chatting, and photography.
👨🍳Dinner: Lao Xikou Tuzao Tou (Xikou Store), average service, but the seafood is really good.
Day 2: Mountains and Ancient Temples
📍Attraction: Xuedou Mountain, Xikou Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area, take the shuttle to Sanyin Pool (Upper, Middle, Lower Sanyin Pool), tour for about 2 hours, at least before 13:30 to go up the mountain. Take the sightseeing train from Lower Sanyin Pool to Qianzhangyan Waterfall, transfer to the cable car to Miaogaotai, and take the shuttle back from Xuedou Temple entrance. Return tired and take a short rest before starting the food journey.
🏨Hotel: Ningbo Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel
👨🍳Dinner: Old Ningbo Alley Restaurant (Tianyuan Alley Store), recommended by locals, also authentic cuisine.
Day 3: Culture and Leisure
📍Attraction: Ningbo Museum, with its unique architectural style, is very suitable for taking great photos.
🌟Activity: The hotel has scheduled free activities for children, and we booked a DIY Frisbee activity that day. The children's imagination blooms here, with Godzilla and Ultraman stories vividly presented on the drawing board.
👨🍳Dinner: A Huan Zhoushan Old Fisherman•Affordable Seafood•Old Ningbo Home Cooking, ate affordable seafood in the Ten Li District and listened to street singers, which I haven't heard for a long time, recommended.
Day 4: Animals and Nature
📍Attraction: Ningbo Zoo, close contact with animals. Must-see shows: Asian elephant garbage sorting, aerial tigers, tiger diving, etc. The zoo is very crowded during the holidays, but you can also follow the alternative list.
📍Attraction: Tianyi Square, very lively at night, where you can eat and drink.
✅Alternative: Dongqian Lake Xiaoputuo (Dongqian Lake Center), Hanling Old Street, etc.
🌟Activity: If there's time in the evening, you can also go for a swim.
Day 5: The Bustle of the City and the Journey Home
📍Attraction: Ningbo Hankyu Department Store, the first department store on the mainland (B1 Whole House Supermarket).
Finally, the entire trip comes to an end.
