Recommended Wellness Homestay
Recommended Wellness Homestay ✅✅
❗Room conditions: The same as a star-rated hotel, with a balcony and a variety of wellness teas.
❗Price: Over CNY 200 per night, very cost-effective.
❗Surroundings: Backed by the Taihang Mountains, with beautiful scenery and different experiences in all four seasons.
❗Nearby attractions:
1️⃣ Bian Que Temple: The second hometown of Bian Que. The temple is very lively during the temple fair on the lunar calendar. It is a good place to burn incense for your health.
2️⃣ Jiulong Cypress: Opposite the bridge at the main entrance of Bian Que Temple, it is 2,000 years old.
3️⃣ Ancient villages: The nearest one is Shentou Village, with ancient buildings and alleys suitable for check-in and sketching. There is a small hill in the fields on the south slope of the village, with the ruins of a turret built by the Japanese invaders on the top. Although it is not visible, the general structure is still there. If you can't find it, you can ask any elderly person in the village. To see the full view of Shentou Village and Bian Que Temple, you can go to the small hill with phoenix cypress in the south slope of the village.
The most revolutionary historical significance is Shipen Village, which requires a drive along a mountain road. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, it was the station of the Independent Battalion of the Eighth Route Army, and the battalion commander was Yang Xiufeng.
4️⃣ Surrounding mountains: The highest is Taizi Rock, with a restaurant halfway up the mountain, which has a sense of "picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence, leisurely seeing the southern mountain". Next is Weng Mountain, which also has a turret left by the Japanese army, and a few years ago you could still see grenade shells...
5️⃣ Shenyingwang Scenic Area: It has the "operating table" where Bian Que practiced medicine, and is also the entrance to Weng Mountain. You can fish, pick fruits, etc.
