#Get a discount without relying on luck. First time in Lijiang without doing any homework. Saw Nazha Sky Courtyard and booked without any expectations. But when I arrived, I got a good feeling. As soon as I dragged my luggage and stood in front of the hotel, confused, the staff rushed out to ask where I was staying. When they found out that I was staying here, they willingly helped me carry my luggage into the accommodation. Because I arrived early, the hotel was kind enough to let me stay early. Very kind. The hotel has a living room upstairs where you can see the mountain view all the time. When I first went up there, a kind female staff came to ask what I wanted to drink and brought me coffee. In the afternoon, it was tea, coffee, and snacks. The hotel provided fruit snacks to make my stomach comfortable. In the afternoon, it was a Tibetan-style tea time in front of the fireplace. The butter tea was so fragrant. The breakfast was delicious and there was enough quantity. You could also refill the rice porridge and soup. For this place, I give it a full score. There was also a cute little cat to miss. This place gives a good feeling. The owner, the staff, the little cat, and the little dog can make the stay a good time.

The owners have Naxi (纳西族) and Tibetan (藏族）heritage and this comes out strongly in their guest engagements. They serve an afternoon tea, freshly brewed Pu Erh (普洱茶）tea which Yunnan is so famous for, while engaging in conversation discussing anything from what to do around Lijiang (and in China generally), culture, history etc. They also have a traditional Tibetan tea (酥油茶）ceremony in the evening，together with traditional Naxi/ Tibetan snacks, around the fireplace where guests can interact with the owners/ fellow guests against the backdrop of the setting sun, weather permitting. In summary, you always feels like family and not just a hotel guest, and this is something an Aman / Intercontinental (the 2 top notch hotels) here can offer. Highly recommended.
