2025 Jacksonville Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in March)

Beautiful day at the zoo! ##summerbreak Jax zoo is located near the International Airport of Jacksonville- it is mostly opened everyday and they sell yearly pass or single tickets - the price of a ticket is around 25 dollars per person. Parking is definitely not an issue since there is a big parking and children under 2 years are free. It usually opens around 9am and closes at 5pm. my favorite time of the year to go to the zoo is during winter time since it is not really hot outside and they usually have some events going on especially during Christmas time I believe they lights up the light and the whole zoo is illuminated. You can feed the 🦒 and spend some time playing with them as long as you don’t touch them, they are really fun and friendly.

If you want a beach with less people then visit this place. You can have picnic and grill. It also has pavilions to rent and $5 per vehicle entry fee for the day. They have showers to rinse off in. You can also bring your beach chairs or beach tent to cover up yourself from the sun. There is a vending machine too if you want to buy some drinks near the public restrooms. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for shell hunting. Waves were small and beach was fairly shallow, so I would recommend for families with smaller children. #mytripblog

Delicious food I have never eaten chocolate muffins with chocolate syrup like that when you eat it feels like you are in Haven come and taste it in Jacksonville's homemade The food was so yummy when you start eating you will never stop cheese pizza cheese wings salad Olive. Yoghurt fresh bread Spanish pie with a cup of Turkish tea I love it and want to come back to Jacksonville ♥️

Visiting Jacksonville, Florida in the fall is a wonderful experience. The city is characterized by its mild atmosphere and natural beauty, with the fall colors adding a magical touch to the scenery. I enjoyed walking through local parks where the leaves turned red and orange. Visiting the beaches, where you can enjoy both walking and surfing, was refreshing. The dining experience was delicious, especially when I had fresh seafood at one of the restaurants overlooking the ocean. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm. Visit Jacksonville in the fall to enjoy the natural beauty and pleasant atmosphere. It's definitely a must-visit destination! 🍂🌊

#myhiddengems I had a fantastic day at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida! 🦓 Located just a short drive from downtown, this zoo offers a rich blend of wildlife and lush landscapes. The entrance fee was about $22 for adults, which I felt was a great deal for the range of exhibits and experiences available. The “Wild Florida” section was a highlight, showcasing native species like Florida panthers and black bears. 🐾 I also loved the “Range of the Jaguar” exhibit, where I saw magnificent jaguars and other exotic animals. 🐆 The zoo’s beautiful botanical gardens provided a serene backdrop to my visit, with walking paths through vibrant plant displays and peaceful water features. The “African Savanna” area was another favorite, with giraffes and rhinos in expansive habitats. After exploring the zoo, I enjoyed a leisurely walk through the nearby historic district of Riverside, which is full of charming shops and cafes.
