We sat at a window seat, and the sunlight was just shining in, making it a very comfortable space🌿✨ 🚶♀️ A leisurely stroll after the meal After tea time, we recommend strolling through the beautiful townscape of Ely! #Travel itinerary This trip was a full day trip starting from Cambridge and visiting Illy. It was a course where you can enjoy the quaint atmosphere of a university town and the quiet riverside scenery at the same time. 1. Corpus Clock Tower - A landmark that captures the flow of time I took a certification shot in front of the Corpus Clock, one of Cambridge's representative landmarks. The unique design of the supernatural insect-shaped sculpture that moves the clock was impressive, and it was interesting that it was a work that philosophically expressed the concept of the flow of time. 2. Punting - Leisure on the River Cam Punting was one of the must-do experiences when visiting Cambridge. You could spend a leisurely time on a boat while appreciating the university buildings and natural scenery. You can row yourself, but it was more comfortable to use the punting operated by a guide. 3. Walking tour of Cambridge city center It was time to walk around the city and see the quaint buildings and university campuses. Walking around King's College and Trinity College, I was able to experience Cambridge's unique academic atmosphere. 4. Jack's Gelato - Cambridge's must-try dessert I tried ice cream at this place recommended by many travelers. The soft texture and fresh ingredients stood out, and it was fun to choose from a variety of flavors. 5. Fitzwilliam Museum - Where art and history meet This museum is free to enter, and it has various exhibits such as European paintings, ancient artifacts, and pottery. It is large in scale and has great exhibitions, so it is recommended for those who love art and history. 6. From Cambridge to Illy I took the train to Illy. It is relatively close to Cambridge, so I was able to arrive in a short time. 7. Peacock Tea Room - Tea time full of emotions I enjoyed British tea and scones in a tea room with a cute atmosphere. The garden and indoor atmosphere were warm and cozy, making it a great place to relax. 8. Ili Riverside Walk I spent some leisurely time walking along the quiet riverside. The quiet atmosphere without crowds made me feel peaceful. 9. Ili Cathedral – Magnificent Architectural Beauty I visited the cathedral, which is Ili’s representative landmark. The massive scale and beautiful stained glass were impressive, and the antique atmosphere inside was very impressive. Ely Cathedral, located in the city of Ely, England, is a magnificent and enchanting place. This Gothic-style cathedral, built in the 11th century and meticulously restored, boasts an elegant and towering structure that can be seen from afar. It is a major attraction for tourists and those interested in history and architecture. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by the beauty of stained glass windows that sparkle when sunlight streams through, creating a warm and uniquely beautiful atmosphere. These stained glass windows intricately depict religious stories and are impressive works of art.

This is second smallest city in the UK (please don’t ask me which the smallest city is :) The city centre is small, however, you can feel history at wherever you are and look at in the city centre area. The big cathedral is suppose to be the centre piece of Ely and many visitors come and see it. The cathedral is also used partly by an independent school called Kings Ely. This school has a very long history and is so English and traditional - compliment. If you are nearby, you can spend a day or a weekend in Ely, it’s relaxing, enjoyable and full of history. By the way: it’s only 15 mins and one stop away from Cambridge by train.

Cambridgeshire may be flight, but that doesn’t mean it’s boring. There are plenty of natural sites within its countryside, one of which is Wicken fen. This national trust maintained site contains a number of boardwalks where you can walk along admiring the natural wetlands either side of you. There is also plenty of wildlife here to see from a variety of wading birds to the tiny Muntjac deer. For those wanting to get closer, there are also boat rides available along the waterways during the summer season #nationaltrust

#europetrip Amazing architecture which worth to visit even the fee is £14, online cheaper but worth every penny. Anglican Cathedral whose present building dates back to 1089 AD. It was originally built in a monumental Roman style, some parts redesigned in the Gothic style. Plenty to see here such as the Lady Chapel and the Octagon Tower in the centre of the church. Impressive marble monuments and painted windows. You can take a tour of the massive West Tower too. Ely Cathedral is one of the most detailed art and architectural churches in England.

#europetrip An absolutely stunning cathedral both inside and out!! It’s definitely worth a visit inside and if their available book to climb the towers!!!! Both tower tours fantastic! The whole cathedral is beautiful and full of history. The staff have always been very friendly and informative when I’ve been and I’ve visited the cafe on a few occasions and have no complaints. There is a small gift shop too which is nice.

Travelled from Ely to London King's Cross, 06:13 took about an hour and twenty to get in. Good journey, not had any problems yet. In case you couldn't tell I'm only here for the Trip coins. I took the return train from King's Cross at 18:09 and again took roughly an hour and twenty minutes to return.
