Castlefield Viaduct - This 330-metre-long Grade II-listed flyover is located in Castlefield. In 1892, it was built by Heenan and Froude, who also participated in the design of the famous Blackpool Tower. And the flyover was discontinued after 1969. The Castlefield Viaduct has since been no longer in use, however has been regularly maintained by National Highways. The flyover has now been transformed into a green space for the public to freely enter and exit. Visitors can enjoy a free guided tour in the morning, and free to stroll around this aerial garden in the afternoon without reservation.
