#timetotravel
My family and I have visited the national museum of Scotland in different time and year and never did I experienced a bad exhibition here. Coming here is an incredible experience for you and your family especially if you have kids with you. the exhibits are highly interactive and entertaining and on top of that educational. Plan your visit well if you have 3 or moe hours then do so because there are plenty to see and plenty to learn. Very intersting and highly recommended. The content is well curated and presented perfectly.

National Museum of Scotland! 🤓🤯
Amazing museum 🤩
Different kind of interest you can find here🥳.
It is suitable for child and adult!
Various game related to science also can be played!
The most important thing in this museum was Dolly 🐑. Dolly has been on display at the National Museum Scothland since 2003 thanks to Roslin Institude!
Just a small not : Dolly was a female Finnish Dorset sheep 🐑 and the first mammal cloned from an adult somatic cell.

An Amazing Musuem Tour in Edinburgh!
National Musuem of Scotland is located in Chambers St, Edinburgh EH1 1JF, Scotland.
The kind of museum you could spend day to explore the diversity of the natural world, world cultures, science & technology, art & design and fashion and Scottish history. It dedicated spaces for families & children, even attached a brasserie for cuppa and resting, all under one roof!
Personally, I'm very interested of the histories & cultures of Scotland. The natural world, especially the natural history display like fossils of dinosaurs and extinct species.
Hours & admission : open daily from 10am to 5 pm, and is Free admission!

National Museum of Scotland
Hi everyone 👋
Today, I am on a trip to Edinburgh. Of course, one of my destinations is the National Museum of Scotland. Even though it is not my first time coming here, it is still at the top of my list, and I highly recommend that you visit.
If you are a museum enthusiast, this place is a must-visit. The exhibitions here include both permanent and temporary zones. Personally, I enjoyed exploring the World Culture zone since I love everything about people and culture. They showcase architecture, culture, celebrations, and historical objects from around the world.
I've included some pictures that I like here. I hope you enjoy them ;)

Have you ever seen such a beautiful interior!!
Have you been to the Scottish museum ?
So much to see, even just Just standing here was worth the visit!!
This fascinating object in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh is the Ballachulish Goddess. She was discovered under a layer of peat in 1880 by workers digging foundations for a new house near Ballachulish.
Alder wood, with quartzite pebbles for eyes, she's around 5ft tall and over 2,500 years old. This incredible preservation was due to the wet conditions of the peaty ground she was buried in. Unfortunately, nobody could find a container of water big enough to hold her for the trip to Edinburgh and so the wood became badly warped into what we see today.
Since she was found near a narrow passage where Loch Linnhe flows into Loch Leven, she's sometimes called the Goddess of the Straights. It's thought that she may have been a deity placed there for sailors to pray to or leave an offering before they navigated the dangerous stretch of water.
Whatever the true story is behind the Ballachulish Goddess, it doesn't get much more mysterious or beautiful than this.
There's a lot of cool stuff in the National Museum of Scotland, but if you only had time to see one thing then I think this should probably be it!

The National Museum incorporates the collections of the former National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland. As well as the national collections of Scottish archaeological finds and medieval objects, the museum contains artefacts from around the world, encompassing geology, archaeology, natural history, science, technology, art, and world cultures. The 16 new galleries reopened in 2011 include 8,000 objects, 80 per cent of which were not formerly on display
