This time I will introduce a famous museum attraction in Yangon: National Museum of Myanmar မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အမျိုးသားပြတိုးသားပြတိုးသား ပြတိုးသားပြတိုးသားပြတိုးသား ြ. Tickets are 5000 Kyats for foreigners and 500 Kyats for locals. The items on display are amazing and include original clothing from past kings and queens, weapons, jewellery, beautifully carved teak chests and stands, thrones, everything plated with Burmese gold. Different eras of Myanmar are shown through stone rubbings, carvings and pagodas at famous sites such as Shwedagon Pagoda, Mingun, Bagan and Mandalay. Even prehistoric fossils have been found throughout Myanmar. Well worth a visit.
