"One City·Ten Thousand Books"
The National Taichung Library was established in 1923, formerly known as the Taichung State Library, with a total collection of nearly 930,000 volumes. Later, due to insufficient space, it was planned to build a new museum. The current building was moved in and opened in 2012. Nearly 5,000 people visit the museum every day!
With the development and progress of the times, equipment is changing with each passing day, emphasizing humanistic concepts and services... such as attaching importance to aboriginal history and humanities, diverse classification of books, self-service certificate reading, public art special zones, digital audio-visual archives, etc., everything is available here. Here, it is knowledge. The ocean is open to anyone to swim in!
Due to its excellent location, beautiful surroundings, and comfortable and bright space inside the museum, it has become the best place for people to share cultural resources!
