The National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall... Taipei.
Established on May 16, 1972, this place commemorates Sun Yat-sen, who established the Three Principles of the People - nationalism, democracy, and the people's livelihood - and ended the Qing dynasty to found the Republic of China, serving as its first provisional president. He is revered as the father of the nation in both Taiwan and China.
The Dr. Sun Yat-sen Library within the hall houses over 300,000 books and spans about 20 halls, along with a vast park, making it a beloved cultural and leisure spot for the citizens of Taipei.
Upon entering the main hall, one can see a 5.8-meter-tall statue of Sun Yat-sen weighing 16.7 tons, and the precise changing of the guard ceremony that takes place every hour is quite fascinating. At 18:00, instead of a changing of the guard, a flag-lowering ceremony is conducted.

In memorial of Dr. Sun Yat Sen
#2024wish
Dr. Sun Yat Sen is being remembered as an important figure who has succeded in toppling the corrupt late Qing dynasty and made China a republic in 1912, ending the 2000+ years of absolute monarchy system in China. There are many countries and cities that preserved sites of his visits when he traveled around collecting donations for funds for such operation. In Taipei, the government has erected a memorial hall with his statue erected to commemorate his contributions in modern China history. There is a museum recording his achievements throughout his life, and some relics related to his operations, on display to let the future generations understand the history.
I wish to visit Taipei again in year 2024.

Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in Taiwan
I've work more than five years here in Taiwan and on my fifth year I decided to go on self tour and Sun Yat-Sen is one on my bucket list. And unfortunately I visit here on the wrong weather, that was on last quarter of the year. It was too hot that I didn't enjoy outside view but I can't resist taking photos.
Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall are history. Inside of this hall are many stories from the old times of Taiwan. You can spend one day here and enjoy reading and sightseeing of there history.
There are foodhaus, bakery and also souvenirs to enjoy.
I recommended to all travelers who are coming to Taiwan on WINTER SEASON but still good on summer season just bring sunglasses and umbrela.
You don't have to worry about transportation it is accessible in MRT espicially when you know how to use google map.
