We were very very excited to visit Nasu Animal Kingdom as there are capybaras. No regrets really! The park was closed on my birthday but I still received a birthday badge from the park, which made me really happy. The animals do not look trapped or in poor conditions. The park caregivers looked happy taking care of the animals and all of the animals are well taken care of. We absolutely loved the capybaras as they are free roaming and you can interact with them. There is also like 3-4 restaurants and 2 gift shop with a huge selection of merchandise which we spent like $200 at. Definitely worth the visit. #2024wish

Admission to Nasu Animal Kingdom is 2600 yen. Compared to other zoos, this zoo has more events and is attractive because you can interact with dogs and cats. The fact that there are Tsushima wildcats and sand cats is also a plus. The zoo is so large that you can get around on the Dog and Cat Bus, which small children loved riding on, probably because they meow ♪ The only drawback is that it's difficult to get there by public transportation.
