20th Century Pear Memorial Hall
In addition to being famous for eating crabs, Tottori also has different varieties of pears.
We left at the Kuryoshi Onsen Hotel and dragged our suitcases to the Twentieth Century Pear Museum.
We had seen some of the red leaves outside the museum, took pictures for a while, and then entered, the museum displayed a 74-year-old twentieth century pear tree specimen, a very large old tree, was a checkpoint.
I think it is more suitable for children, there are different games for them to get to know the knowledge of pears, insects, however are Japanese, English mainly. Adults may be a bit bored to go, but with the opportunity to go outdoors to see the pear trees, in fact, I was the first time to see different varieties of pears up close.
With the ticket, you can eat three varieties of pears for free. There are also souvenirs and pear products outside the museum. I bought 2 bottles of pear juice. Some pear products are sold in souvenir stores.
If the suitcase is too big, there is actually room for luggage at the ticket office.
If you want dessert, there are pear ice cream and other ice products
For staples, there are soba noodles in the venue, but the prices are more expensive, instead walking outside the pavilion, there are other affordable small shops.
