[Kagawa/Naoshima] A 2-day, 1-night trip to Naoshima for a woman alone, DAY 2
Day 2 of a solo trip to Naoshima✈️
On the first day, I visited the Art House Project and the main art museums, so on the second day, I visited places I hadn't seen yet🚶
9:30 Hifumiyo Coffee
Open from 8:30am! It seems that many locals visit, and it was a very friendly shop☕️
10:00 ANDO MUSIUM
Right next to the coffee shop is Tadao Ando's museum. There are many famous works, such as the design of the Chichu Art Museum, and you can see illustrations. The light inside the museum is also exquisite. I became more and more captivated.
11:00 Ring of Fire
A mechanism that moves the exhibits according to the size of the crustal movement when it occurs. Since it moves in real time, it seems that sometimes it doesn't move no matter how many minutes you wait. I was lucky to be able to see the movement right away when I said it👀
11:30 Genmai Shinshoku - Aisu Nao
When traveling, I tend to eat unbalanced nutrition, but I was able to enjoy a very healthy meal here. Some people may find it unsatisfying because it's only vegetables, but the amount is quite good 🍽️
12:00 The Naoshima Plan Wed
This is a spot where you can view for free! I visited in late September and it was still hot, so I enjoyed a foot bath instead of a foot bath.
12:30 Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery
The exhibits here were also very wonderful. The structure of the building and the way the exhibits were displayed were wonderful, so you can look at them forever. If you make a reservation in advance, tea and sweets are included, so you can relax while drinking tea.
*Reservations are required, so we recommend making a reservation early!
14:15 Naoshima Public Bath I♡Yu
We took the bus to Miyanoura Port and went to a nearby public bath. We didn't have much time until our scheduled ferry, but it was enough to soothe our tired bodies! The exhibits were very unique, and the public bath was filled with the owner's attention to detail ♨️ Every detail is carefully considered, so please take a look closely!
14:55 Departing Miyanoura Port
To Uno Port⛴️Finally, we did a little sightseeing in Okayama City before flying home.
It was a very fulfilling trip where I was immersed in art for two days. Naoshima was the first place where I was moved by an art museum.
I recommend you all to visit, I'm sure you will encounter wonderful emotions☺️
