The only well-preserved government office in the country (Nanyang)
After visiting the Huai'an government office a few years ago, I started to be interested in the Nanyang government office. Because the slogan of the Huai'an government office is ☞ one of the only two government offices in the country. And the slogan of the Nanyang government office is ☞ the only relatively well-preserved feudal government office in the country, emphasizing ☞ relatively well-preserved, which clearly means not playing with the standard, so, you know
Actually, friends who know about the Huai'an government office know that basically only the main frames of the main hall and the second hall are original, which is because the housing department and the government office's factory area did not reach an agreement on the distribution of wood after dismantling in the 1970s, and thus escaped a disaster Even this remaining frame was rebuilt in the Xianfeng period, which is 500 years away from the propaganda that began in the Hongwu period...
When visiting the Nanyang government office, you can first go to see the spring and autumn picture exhibition of the government office on the right side of the main hall. The pictures retain the photos before the renovation. Although it is also quite miserable, such as the central axis basically becoming a pedestrian passage (Figure 13), the second hall directly turned into a residence by the villagers, and the overall government office is basically invisible covered by residential buildings... But there are still many ancient buildings preserved, such as the main hall, the second hall, the Yungong Gate and other main buildings. Although the traces of restoration are also quite serious, you can still glimpse its original appearance through some details, such as the frame of the roof of the main hall (Figure 6), the inscription of the ridge beam of the Yungong Gate in the Daoguang period (Figure 8), the beam head brackets of the second and third halls (Figure 9 Figure 12), the portrait of Sun Yat-sen on the running board of the second hall (Figure 10)... The entire government office has more than 100 existing Ming and Qing buildings, with strict layout and grand scale. As the only relatively well-preserved prefecture-level official residence in the country, it is not easy
Of course, since it has a long history, there are naturally many stories here. The words 'parents official', 'summoning father and mother', 'sheep hanging fish' all originated here, and there are detailed introductions in the scenic area
The layout of the government office is similar to that of Huai'an. Nanyang has an extra dungeon, but Huai'an's prison (ground) is built more gloomy, and there are more torture instruments. In addition to this, Huai'an has a back garden, Nanyang does not, but Nanyang has a high safety factor, because there is a fire brigade behind the third hall
For such ancient architectural attractions, especially those that are not very exquisite The greater significance is to understand and witness history, whether it is worth it or not depends on the person
