Cangpo Village was established in the second year of the Xiande era of the Later Zhou Dynasty during the Five Dynasties (955 AD) and has been a settlement for the Li family. The current Cangpo Village was rebuilt in the fifth year of Chunxi during the Southern Song Dynasty (1189 AD) by inviting the national teacher Li Shirri to arrange it according to the Feng Shui theory of the Five Elements and the layout of the 'Four Treasures of the Study.'
