The Nanpu Bridge was originally built in 1988, completed on November 19, 1991, and opened to traffic on December 1, 1991. Nanpu Bridge starts from Luban Road Interchange in the west, spans the Huangpu River waterway, and ends at Zhangjiang Interchange in the south; the main bridge is 836 meters long; the bridge deck is a two-way six-lane urban expressway with a design speed of 60 km/h; the total cost is 820 million yuan.
