If I had to pick the Hangang River where you can enjoy a picnic most leisurely, I would recommend Nanji Hangang Park :) It is less crowded than Hangang Parks such as Yanghwa, Yeouido, and Ttukseom, so you can enjoy it leisurely. And I recommend playing a board game while picnicking. It is called 'Splendor', and it is a game of brain battle, so once you start, you will want to keep playing it 😉 You can buy ramen and beer by betting on the game! Lanji Hangang Park is one of Seoul's famous tourist attractions. Both locals and tourists love to come here to relax and enjoy nature. The park is located by the Han River, featuring vast lawns and beautiful river views, making it an ideal place for walking, running, picnicking, or cycling. The facilities here are very well-equipped, with multiple trails suitable for morning runs or evening strolls, and a playground designed specifically for families. Especially in the evening, the sunset over the Han River is incredibly charming, whether you're alone or with family and friends, you can feel relaxed and at ease. Lanji Hangang Park is not only a great place for leisure and relaxation, but it also hosts various cultural activities and music performances, making the park lively and vibrant.

One of my favourite spots in Seoul. Unless there are some festivals or events, it’s quiet and spacious comparing to other hangang parks. Good place to go with family especially if have little kids, there is a small playround. A sandbox, so really a place for small kids. Also plenty of space for picnics. This is at the Han River so you can enjoy a nice sunset after a day of braaing.

It features an infinity pool that offers the closest view of the Hangang River and a music fountain, allowing you to enjoy beautiful scenery while having fun in the water. Additionally, the nearby Nanji Campground, MTB Training Center, Extreme Sports Zone, Sand Playground, and Haneul Park This summer, cool off with your family at the Hangang Park Swimming Pool!

This is the Hangang Park that you can find near Nanjido. It is easily accessible to Mapo-gu people. It is very spacious and eco-friendly. There is a nice walking path along the wetlands. There is a camping site in Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul! Right here, you can enjoy glamping for a low price of 100,000 won, regardless of weekdays or weekends.
