The Xixian Datang is an ancient hydraulic project that began in the Eastern Han Dynasty and was completed in the Song Dynasty. Located on the right bank of the Dong Tiao Creek, it serves as an important flood control barrier in the northern part of Hangzhou. It has always been a significant hydraulic project, named Xixian Datang because it is located to the west of Hangzhou and the embankment is perilous. In the evening, with intermittent rain and sunshine, walking along Tiao Creek, one encounters misty rain and fog, and even the splendid Nanhu sunset, adding a charming scene to the landscape. Finding an unpretentious campsite is really a treat in the fall. Every weekend, I would go out with my good friends to experience the beauty of nature. This time I have prepared five free autumn treasure camping sites. They are all located in Yuhang, very close to the city, and very suitable for a weekend trip. 1⃣️Changle Forest Farm Navigate to "Changle Forest Farm" and you can find a parking lot. This camping site is very spacious. You can camp for free in the area near the lake, and you can hike on Niangniang Mountain. The surrounding forest will become colorful and beautiful in autumn. 2⃣️Zhangyan Village Just navigate to "Zhangyan Church". This place is close to Beitiaoxi River and you can park on the roadside. There are large tracts of Metasequoia forests and reeds here, which are all golden in late November. There are also fewer tourists, making it a very suitable place for people who like tranquility. 3⃣️Xiadoumen Village Navigate to "Sanjiatou" and you can also park on the roadside. You can camp on the embankment, and down below is a sea of ​​reeds. I highly recommend watching the sunset here, but if there are many people, it’s best to arrive early. 4⃣️Hemp car head group If you like the feeling of the prairie, you can go to the Ma Che Tou Group. Navigate to "Machetou Village Committee" and you can also park on the roadside. There is a large meadow by the river where you can camp and feel like you are on the prairie. 5⃣️Nanhu Park Navigate to "Nanhu Park" and you can park along the embankment. Camping is possible near the lake, and you can ride or walk on the embankment, which is very comfortable. The elevated road in Yuhang is now open to traffic, making travel very convenient. These five free Autumn Treasures campgrounds are all places I’ve personally experienced and are well worth a visit.
