For “Sala Chalerm Thani” or Nang Loeng Cinema, it was built during the reign of King Rama VI. It first started showing movies in 1918, since the silent film era. Providing entertainment for the Nang Loeng community for 75 years until it ceased operations in 1993, it is the only remaining wooden-structured cinema.
