Just for these few delicacies, it’s worth a trip to Nanchong!
My best friend took me to Nanchong for a few days, where her sister lives.
The "landlord" takes us out for food every day and is amazed at how Nanchong is truly a city of delicious food. The following stores are highly recommended by me, and are definitely worth a trip to Nanchong:
❤Longfeng Clay Pot Soup Restaurant (Xinhaotiandi Store)
It is said that it has been open for twenty years. Time speaks for itself.
👍Goose feet stewed with bitter radish are added with soybeans, which makes the light and slightly bitter taste more tender and slightly sweet from the beans.
The dried white meat, with alternating fat and lean parts, is coated with spicy seasoning and added with the fragrance of cucumber slices. It is not greasy at all and has a full flavor.
Classic garlic spare ribs, paper-wrapped tofu, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The grilled pork intestines, Houttuynia cordata, and blanched phoenix tail are all amazing.
🌟There are a lot of dishes. The food was served very quickly. The average per capita consumption is only 60.
❤Daxi Fresh Food Hotpot (Chunfeng Rose Garden Store)
I have eaten so many hotpots, including those in Chongqing and Chengdu, but I didn’t expect that the one in Nanchong is one of the best.
The characteristic of his restaurant is - grand!
👍Self-service snacks, fruits include dragon fruit, sugar cane is of good quality; boiled edamame and peanuts, with bay leaves and star anise; there are also chicken wings, cold fungus and dried tofu...
The bowl for seasoning is as big as a soup bowl or rice bowl, and adding watercress makes it taste fragrant; the thousand-layer tripe is quite generous in portion.
Tastes good. The taste is not bad at all until the end, and it is not spicy, bitter or salty.
🌟Although it is a new store, it is quite popular, so it is best to make a reservation in advance.
The only drawback is that there were diners smoking in the restaurant and the waiter should have stopped them.
❤Jialingchun Ronghua
The memory of the passenger ship sailing through the mountains and rivers, the charming scenery of light and shadow on the lake, the fresh and delicious enjoyment on the tip of the tongue... The river boat feast combines beautiful scenery and delicious food in one meal, which is unforgettable.
👍The passenger ship we dined on was the "Jiangxia Cruise" built in 1954, which sailed between the Three Gorges where the cries of monkeys could be heard constantly on both sides. In 1966, it was renamed "Dongfanghong". In 2014, it was converted into a barge for catering and it was said that it was once hard to get a seat.
🌟The ingredients and taste are very good. Eat from dusk until the lights come on, watch the cruise ships pass by, and see the light and shadow of Qinghui Pavilion change...
❤Su Man Xiang Vegetarian Buffet (Shunqing Store)
It has been renamed Tiantiansu·Vegetarian Buffet·Vegetarian Banquet (Store 1227).
The cost-effectiveness is astonishing! 19 yuan buffet! It’s the same price as a side dish in a normal restaurant - but here you can eat -
Steamed cakes: steamed dumplings, steamed buns (mushroom buns, brown sugar buns), glutinous rice balls, brown sugar cakes, steamed sweet potato and yam...
Fried food: fried dumplings, pancakes (highly recommended, slightly numbing, crispy and soft like lasagna), fried potatoes (with ketchup), fried mushrooms...
Soups and porridges: kelp and meat soup, peanut and lotus root soup, vegetable porridge, fermented glutinous rice dumplings, white fungus soup...
Salads: chrysanthemum, purple cabbage, cabbage, and even wheatgrass...
There are also jelly rice noodles, soy milk, ginger tea and lemonade...
🌟The dishes are rich, the taste is authentic, and the environment is clean!
I feel that the boss is doing good deeds by opening a shop.
❤Other favorites include the famous Sichuan Liangfen, Zhang Fei beef noodles, Zhuer noodles, Yang duck...
As a Chongqing native, I think the richness of Nanchong’s cuisine exceeds that of Chongqing. Worth a try for foodies!
