🕍Nan National Museum is a place that contains valuable treasures that are the heritage of Nan from the past to the present.
🕍In the past, this place was the Hall of King Suriyapong Phritdet, the ruler of Nan, which was built as a residence in 1903.
🕍It is a 2-storey building in a three-porch or T-shaped style, combining Western and Thai art. The interior structure is made of wood, facing east, with a porch at the front.
🕍When Chao Maha Phrom Surathatha, the last ruler of Nan, passed away, the princes and their children gave the Hall of Kings and the land to the government to use as the city hall in 1932.
🏰In 1974, it was renovated to be the location of the Nan National Museum.
🌇In the museum, the ground floor exhibits the lives of various tribes in Nan Province. And important festivals of the province, such as fortune-telling and boat races.
🏡 The upper floor displays antiques found in Nan Province, from prehistoric times to the era of the rulers of Nan.

🦣 Black ivory, a sacred object of Nan Province, is a left ivory tusk, 94 cm long, measuring 47 cm in circumference at its largest part, weighing 18 kg. It was obtained during the reign of Phraya Kankong, the fifth ruler of Nan.
🍯 Glazed pottery, around the 21st Buddhist century, from the Bo Suak kiln, Bo Suak sub-district, Mueang Nan district.
🙏 Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, Lanna art, influenced by Burmese art, 25th Buddhist century.
🙏 Silverware tray with enamel, the last ruler of Nan.
🏡 Wat Noi, the smallest temple in Thailand, built during the reign of King Rama V, who graciously ordered it to be built in order to keep the promise of King Suriyapong Phritdet.
