Around 4000 roses and 300 different rose species can be found in the garden, surrounded by tall skyscrapers. The best time to visit the garden will be around May to June, and October to November where most of the roses bloom. I visited around mid to late May and it's really quite nice. There's quite a lot of families and even a wedding shoot on the morning of my visit.

There are signs with the names of the species. You can learn more. Tourists come and go to see them all the time. The area is an open park on an island in the middle of the O River. There is no roof. During the cooler weather, Japanese people come to have picnics and enjoy the view along the river. Some of the flowers are as big as our faces. After walking around, you can sit and relax and enjoy the chill atmosphere. There is a cafe next door. Of course, you must try the Rose soft-served ice cream. Rose-flavored soft-serve ice cream is fragrant, sweet, and delicious. Topped with berry-style sauce for 450 yen. Delicious and refreshing. This is another place that I would like to recommend visiting if you have 2 hours in Osaka. Try traveling here to see the beautiful roses.

Fujita Museum should be considered a private museum. It is not very convenient to get there. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the subway. The museum is not big and the price is a little expensive, 1000 yen. If you are not very interested in the exhibits inside, you can simply walk around outside. It takes about 10 minutes. The architecture of the museum itself is quite unique. Many elderly people will sketch outside. The most attractive thing is the restaurant outside the museum, where you can have tea and snacks. On this sunny morning, I decided to visit the Central Public Hall located in Nakanoshima, Osaka. I exited from Yodoyabashi Station on the Midosuji Line and walked towards the Central Public Hall along the bustling streets. The five-minute walk allowed me to feel the urban atmosphere of Osaka, with the surrounding skyscrapers and greenery creating a charming contrast, filling me with anticipation for the upcoming visit. As I approached the Central Public Hall, its majestic exterior stood out against the backdrop of blue water and green trees. Completed in 1918, this building has been preserved and restored over the years and has become the first public hall building in western Japan to be designated as a National Important Cultural Property. Entering the hall, I was amazed by the interior decorations and the sense of history. Inside the hall, I discovered that the exhibition room on the basement level is open to the public for free, showcasing the history and artifacts related to the hall. I leisurely admired various relics here, feeling the deep cultural heritage of the building. The hall is not only a venue for concerts and lectures but also carries many historical events, reminding me of great figures like Einstein and Helen Keller who once gave speeches here. After visiting the Central Public Hall, I strolled along the nearby Nakanoshima Park. This park is an oasis in Osaka, with spacious lawns and beautiful lakes, allowing one to feel the natural atmosphere within the city. Many people were jogging, walking, and families were playing on the grass, creating a lively scene. I found a comfortable bench to sit on, enjoying the breeze on my face, and the surrounding green trees and blooming flowers lifted my spirits. This is a great place to relax and temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of the city. This day's visit to the Central Public Hall not only deepened my understanding of Osaka's history and culture but also allowed me to enjoy a moment of tranquility in Nakanoshima Park. The grandeur of the Central Public Hall and the natural beauty of Nakanoshima Park perfectly intertwined, becoming an unforgettable part of my journey in Osaka. In fact, when I stayed at Nakanoshima this time, I found that there are several good hotels, restaurants and museums on this small island in the center of Osaka. #thingstodo Located between the Daibiru main building and the KEPCO headquarters, it is a small but well-maintained oasis on Nakanoshima with a variety of trees and flower saplings that are regularly replaced. It is lit up at Christmas time. The big and wonderful weeping cherry blossoms 88 are beautiful now. The weeping cherry blossoms reflected in the waterscape at your feet are truly beautiful.

#thingstodo A beautiful place just to take a walk by the river, lie in the sun with a book, or take the family for a picnic. With the odd event here and there and also the rose garden. If you walk west along the river there are a number of historical points with signboards discussing the history of the area and the importance of the trade and markets that were once there. Nice for a bike ride and only a stones throw from the Tenma shopping arcade(the longest in Japan), Tenmangu shrine, the Osaka mint and of course Osaka Castle just to name a few.

#thingstodo The garden is a nice open area, but unfortunately much of the green space is off limits for who knows how much of the year while the lawn grass is still growing. Good place for a walk during the day and a popular picnic place when it's nice out. The rose garden proper has benches around the flowers and there's a seasonal food place that caters at a small premium price for food that's probably not anything better than restaurants nearby. It's basically on an island or small peninsula in the middle of the river that you access by going down the steps from any of several bridges

When I was already exhausted during whole of roaming around Osaka, I found a quite place to rest, and that is Nakanoshima Park. It is sometimes called Nakanoshima Rose Garden. It is such a huge park. It has some Roses gardens, a river view, and a a couple of beautiful bridges on sight. It is located in Kita-ku is is usually peaceful. #wintergetaway

Nice and easily accessible park by the river. Clean and with many seating area and flowers. Good for morning walks and evening strolls. The park is safe for visitors with scenic views of the river alongside.. There are historical memorials in the park and it is well kept. Lovely stroll close to plenty of stations (Yodoyabashi, Nakanoshima, Tenmabashi...) and to a very nice shopping street (Tenjinbashi-suji). The location itself is pretty well located and offers you some interesting museums, architecture (at least you should visit the former Osaka town hall) and a beautiful rose garden. #givethanks #givethanks
