Monet painted the same motif many times from different angles and at different times of the day to express the changes in nature and the charm of light. These works are Monet's series. You can view the series of Water Lilies and Haystacks at this exhibition. It is said that Monet's series was inspired by Japanese ukiyo-e, so it's no wonder that Japanese people love Monet so much. I like haystacks, and this time there were a lot of them, so it was a nice point. ☑ He painted a lot of works! Monet painted a lot of works. He painted 2,000 pieces in his lifetime, and 200 of the water lilies that everyone loves. He lived to be 86 years old, which is very long for this era. Amazing. This time, we will be looking at works collected from various art museums. There are 12 pieces exhibited in Osaka alone, totaling about 70 pieces. You may encounter Monet's works in various places, but the satisfaction of seeing everything Monet is high! ☑ There are some differences between Monet's water lilies in the first and second periods. The first period is characterized by a garden with a slightly Japanese flavor, with an arched bridge and willow trees. After that, in the second season, the water lilies reappear while the garden is being tended, and the main focus is on them floating on the water surface. Both appear this time! Personally, I thought the big water lilies in the first season were lovely~~─────────────── 🌟Caution☑ Crowded It seems to be crowded at the moment. There is also a line to get in to the shop. The museum recommended that you go after 4pm! ☑ The last water lily room in the photo area, and some other areas and entrances─────────────── 🌟Outing plan13:00~ Smørrebrød Kitchen14:00~ Nakanoshima Library15:30~ GELATERIA solege16:00~ Monet exhibition──────────────── 📌Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art "Monet: Scenes from a Series" Period: February 10th (Sat) - May 6th (Mon, closed), 2024 🎌Mondays (open on February 12th, April 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th, and May 6th) 📍4-3-1 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka 🕕 10:00~18:00 (last admission at 17:30) 🎫 Adults 2,500 yen / High school and university students 1,500 yen / Elementary and junior high school students 500 yen📌GELATERIA solege Nakanoshima Museum of Art Store🕕Weekdays 11:00~17:00 Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 11:00~18:00 (irregular holidays)4-3-1 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art 1F────────────────Thank you Osaka Tourism Bureau!
