Nai Harn Beach is definitely one of the best beaches in Phuket, Thailand. There is much less people, pollution, and noise. It's located in the south of Phuket, about a 30-40 minute drive from the central Patong area. The sand is fine, pristine, with almost no rocks! So it's very comfortably to walk into the sea (the drop isn't too steep), where the water is cool, clear, and calm during high tide, with no large waves, so it's very suitable for swimming. You can even see small fishes swimming around you! Pretty good for kids who want to snorkel. There are many restaurants just by the beach, with plenty of parking spaces. The food is much cheaper than other beachside restaurants at more crowded beaches, and the staff are all warm and friendly. I highly recommend dedicating a full afternoon to Nai Harn Beach - it's underrated, and 100% worth your time! Most tourists I spoke to agree that Nai Harn is phuket's best beach. Nai Harn Beach is located in the south of the island, it is a popular beach with thousands of visitors every year but it is still relatively untouched. The beach isn't super long, it’s about a kilometer but there’s nice waves, clean water and soft sand. There you will find some street food vendors, nice shops and restaurant area not far off the beach. Nai Harn Beach is near a nice park (Nai Harn Park) and a temple. There’s also another beach around, the name is Ao Sane beach. 🏊 I originally planned to just lie on the beach in Phuket. I'm not good at water sports, and I can't swim. No wonder so many people like the feeling of flying, soaring freely, and overlooking the scenery and people below. 🌊 While paragliding, you can see the whole of Nai Harn: lush hills, deep bays, and small boats dotted on the sea like spots of oil paint on a canvas. 🏖️ The coach will teach you some tips, such as adjusting the flight rhythm according to your state. Want to enjoy the scenery quietly? You can glide smoothly. Like excitement? They will do a small spin dive at high altitude, letting you experience an adrenaline rush. 🏝️ I prefer quiet beaches without noise. There aren't many paragliding companies, but the equipment is well maintained, and the coaches are experienced and friendly. There are fewer tourists, so you don't have to wait in long lines, and you have enough private space to enjoy flying. 🏍️ Transportation: You can rent a motorcycle (about THB 300/day) or charter a car. The roads are flat, and the navigation is clear, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. 💰 Paragliding prices vary by package, but it's about CNY 300–400, including about 15 minutes of flight time. ✈️ If you want to fly longer, you can. There are also people who can take photos and record videos for you. You only need to pay an extra CNY 10–20. They're very friendly and happy to help. 👔 Clothing: Wear light, close-fitting sportswear to avoid loose clothing interfering with the paraglider. #songkran2024The beach is quite nice and clean, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby with decent food. The sun-beds are quite expensive tho, the cheapest one being 200 bhat when it’s usually 100 bhat in the rest of Thailand. They also close the sunbeds at around 5:30, not allowing to fully see the beautiful sunset.

#songkran2024 Came here for the snorkeling and swimming. Online reviews claim this beach as an ideal spot for fish watching. Arrived by SmartBus (100 baht) The water was rough, lots of sand churning at the floor bottom, creating poor visibility. Swam along the rocks on the north side of the beach...many small angel fish, some banner fish, few parrot fish and schools of small silvery fish. Someone informed me the waters are much rougher these past 2 days due to recent storms. But it was nice to swim. The water was warm. Lots of restaurants, bars and food options.
