We participated in Nagasaki Minato Festival 2024, a seasonal summer event in Nagasaki City! The festival took place over a wide area, including Nagasaki Waterfront Forest Park and Nagasaki Port, and many outdoor stalls were set up, which are a must-see at summer festivals. It was a spectacular event, with stage events and fireworks at night. The festival is easily accessible and covers a wide area, so you can enjoy the fireworks over a wide area. The 2024 festival has already ended, but be sure to check it out next year! Luckily, the hotel I stayed in Nagasaki was near Nagasaki Seaside Park, so I could enjoy this famous attraction in the inner harbor area of Nagasaki Port every day. Location: The park is adjacent to the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum, making it a great place for leisure, entertainment, walking, and flower viewing. My family and I jogged in the park every morning and walked in the park every night, which made us feel great. 😀 The park is divided into three parts: the Earth Plaza, the Water Garden, and the Waterside Walkway. We didn't miss any of them because each has its own beauty. Special attractions: The park has a rich natural ecology and special vegetation, which, together with the green waters, form a beautiful landscape. Among them, the "Water Garden" uses naturally flowing mountain water to create a fountain landscape, which is very suitable for children to play. The park has a venue for exchange activities and has won the Gold Award in the Architecture Department of the Good Design Award in Japan. I heard that the park also holds events from time to time, such as fireworks festivals and sailing festivals. Unfortunately, I didn't see any. Opening hours: The park is open all year round, so you can visit it at any time. If you book a hotel next to it like I did, you can check in every day. Transportation: You can take a tram or bus from Nagasaki Station to the park. It's very convenient! I was very happy when I recalled my trip to Nagasaki. 😃
