[Nagasaki] A festival filled with exotic atmosphere 🪅 Go to a fantastical event filled with lanterns ✈️
This festival, which originated from the "Spring Festival" celebrating the Chinese New Year, is held every year for about two weeks from late January to early February in line with the Chinese New Year‼ ️It is a major winter event nationwide🤩
This time, we will introduce the "Nagasaki Lantern Festival" which is held mainly in the area of Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown in Nagasaki. Approximately 15,000 lanterns (Chinese lanterns) are decorated at seven venues including the main venue, Shinchi Chinatown venue (Minato Park), Central Park, Hamamachi, and the city center, making the night of Nagasaki shine with color✨This year, it will be held from "Wednesday, January 29th to Wednesday, February 12th, 2025"‼ ️
If you can go, please go!
Lighting time: 17:00-22:00
📸You'll be lucky if you can take this photo📸
Dragon dances are scheduled to be held every day during the event🐉 Dragon dances are written as "Jaodori"📝 The dragon dances express the dragon's pursuit of a golden jewel, dancing wildly like a living dragon, and during the event, they will parade through Chinatown while dancing! However, they do not appear on streets with too many people, and it is extremely rare for them to appear at the location in the top picture because it is the most crowded place, but this is the best photo spot, so I would like to somehow aim to take a photo of the dragon dance here📸This photo spot is from Shinchibashi to the entrance to Chinatown, so please try to take a photo of it😄

That's all!
