Initially, we opted for the easiest trail, but for some reason, we ended up on a moderate-to-difficult trail, passing by several peaks. However, the trail wasn't that tough, and we saw many elderly people hiking. At the peaks, we could see the whole park covered in yellow and red. It was such a memorable experience. #hikingtrails

Naejangsan is one of my favorite places in Korea to experience the fall foliage. Just around 4 hours by highway bus from Seoul, it’s doable as a day trip. However, I always prefer to spend at least one night there, allowing me to beat the crowds in the early morning and have enough time to hike to several of Naejangsan’s peaks. There are plenty of accommodation options nearby, and the food is great too. I highly recommend visiting in the autumn! #koreatrip

took the first bus to visit this famous fall place that has been hype by many. once you reach this location, you will be awe by the beauty of the fall leaf. Transportation tips: It is recommended to take the Jeonbuk shuttle bus from Seoul to Naejangsan (available from Friday to Sunday, USD$10 per person round trip). It is super cost-effective! Check-in attractions: Yuhua Pavilion, Neizang Temple, and places with many maple leaves. When my younger sister went there, there were not many maple leaves and the weather was average, but it was very comfortable to go hiking. You could hear the sound of flowing water and birds singing, see the mountains, big trees, flowing water, and squirrels, and feel leisurely and free. We chose a normal hiking route, the entire route was paved, so we had a good walk. #freehotelstay Naejangsan National Park was one of the most beautiful places I have been to in Korea. I did a day tour from Seoul. The tour group got dropped off at a small village. To get to Naejang Mountain, you could take the shuttle bus to the cable car, the shuttle bus and then hike up the mountain, or walk for 40 minutes and then climb up the mountain. I walked the whole time. There was an abundance of bright red and orange leaves. The hike up wasn’t too intense, though I did have to be careful not to slip and fall when descending the mountain. I do recommend carrying a hiking stick for safety reasons. The best views were the ones at the top from the observation deck. #fallingseason Naejangsan Mountain is one of the most popular places to visit in autumn. The colors there are amazing but the biggest draw is the Uhwajeong Pavilion. It was rebuilt in 2016 and is famous among photographers. I wanted to get there in the morning fog for the classic photos that you have seen of it. I also had one other location saved on my phone for the ride back, a chrysanthemum festival in Iksan. Unfortunately, I put in the wrong address in the morning and ended up going to Iksan first. While I missed the morning fog, I still enjoyed the day. I had a cold, which prevented me from hiking too much and I didn't feel like standing in the long line for the cable car. The biggest issue is the number of people sitting and taking pictures in the pavilion. Even though, I was disappointed as a photographer, I was glad to see that people were enjoying it.
