It is said that Mount Fuji rewards early risers. Compared to Lake Kawaguchiko, I prefer Lake Yamanaka. Although there was no "reverse Fuji," I was already very satisfied. There was sunrise, swans, and Mount Fuji. 🚗6:30 Hirano Lakeside (Hirano no Hama) Took a taxi to Hirano no Hama. There were swans, sunrise, and Mount Fuji. 🚴10:00 Shiratori-hama After 7:00, there's a bus. Took the bus back to the hotel and rented a bicycle with electric assist. It wasn't tiring. Cycling around the lake took 2 hours. Gave up on "the park" as it opens at 11:00 and there were already many people waiting for viewing spots at 10:00. But actually, just a little bit past "the park," the scenery was also amazing. There's no need to wait specifically. After cycling around the lake, had brunch at Denny's. In the afternoon, took a bus to Lake Kawaguchiko. A perfect day. ❗️Tips The lake bus only starts running at 7:00. To see the sunrise early, you need to take a taxi or stay near Hirano. There are swans in many places, especially at Shiratori-hama, and also at Hirano. Bicycle rentals are available from 9:00 for JPY 2,000 for two hours. Rented from an elderly gentleman near Shiratori-hama. Two hours is enough to cycle around the lake and take photos. You can choose a hotel in Hirano or near a bus stop, which is very convenient.

There are so many wonderful hotels in Tokyo, but not many rooms offer views of Tokyo Skytree, Senso-ji Temple, and Mount Fuji. I know one, right next to Senso-ji Temple. From the hotel's rooftop, you can also watch the sunrise over Tokyo Skytree and the sunset over Senso-ji Temple. It's the OMO3 Asakusa by Hoshino Resorts. The hotel is just a three-minute walk from Kaminarimon Gate at Senso-ji Temple, and only one stop away from Tokyo Skytree. There are plenty of long-established restaurants and kimono rental shops nearby. The hotel was designed by Tony Chi. In addition to Japanese style, there are also some Hong Kong style influences. ✨The room has many surprising little details: remote control-like switches, cube-shaped cabinets, a semi-circular bathtub perfect for lounging, aluminum bottled mineral water, tangram-like amenities... The hand soap is designed to look like a daifuku in a teacup, white, translucent, soft, and chewy. Every little detail really impressed me. The toiletries are ✨Aesop, and they smell really good. I wanted to ask the hotel for a bottle, but they said 😂 they could only replace them, not give them away. 😍The yukata is so beautiful, just like the one on the cover! The pattern is different from the yukata at the Andaz Pattaya. Maybe each Andaz hotel has its own design? The two pairs of slippers are also different, one pair is flip-flops, and the other pair is regular slippers.
